What's for dinner? May 17th, 2024

On the way home from work we stopped and got tiny she child again. Yep third night in a row. So this is turning into an every night thing. Not really sure why her momma is so eager to let her go every night, but texts and says she gets nervous when tiny she child isn't with her. Actually I am pretty sure why, I just don't think this is the place to comment on it. But anyway when we got back to the house we started dinner. Chris actually cooked tonight. Other than the bacon. We made bacon cheeseburgers and steak fries. Nothing fancy. But it was easy and everybody was happy. I meant to take pictures of the kiddos eating, and forgot. Oops. Anyway that's what was for dinner tonight. What went on the table at your house?

Stuffed bell peppers wrapped in bacon, but I didn’t make them, my father had pity on me.

Chris doesn't eat peppers. LOL. But I used to make those.

@AmbiePam Nope. He doesn't like veggies very much. I sent you some pictures on text a few minutes ago. LOL. its been a very eventful weekend.

We were out and about this afternoon doing this and that and had planned on stopping on the way home to eat. However, hubby suggested the newish Cajun Seafood place that opened in town and I agreed to that. So we stopped in and picked up fried fish plates to go home with us. It was just okay. The fish didn't have much seasoning other than salt and black pepper, the hush puppies were nothing to write home about, the potato salad was swimming in mayo and the french fries were just so-so. At least I didn't have to cook tonight!!

Those bacon cheeseburgers and steak fries sound mighty tasty. My partner and I just ended up eating cereal for dinner. We got too tired to do anything after work.
