City or country life?

I live in the city and it's so noisy especially in the day time. I would prefer to live in the country where the environment is so perfect and calm for studying and thinking, but the problem is that the country is far away from the civilization and the many services found in the city. Do you live in a city or in the country?

I am a country girl. I lived in the city maybe a total of 2 years out of my life and I could not stand the noise. I like the peace and quiet. The only noise you hear is nature. It is great.

My city - This is a picture of one of the parks in my city.
I'm really lucky where I live, I get the best of both worlds. I live in teh city but we have the beach and some beautiful parks. The outskirts of the city are also considered an area of outstanding natural beauty. But I guess if i had to choose it would be the city life for me...although I would miss the beach and the forests.

I live in Faisalabad, Pakistan. Faisalabad is my city and is called backbone of Pakistan due to its textile products and is also known as "Manchester of Asia." Each and every basic need of life is available here e.g. hospitals, universities, schools, colleges etc. but there r plenty of mills and industries in my city. They cause a lot of smoke and the air is completelly polluted here but still, i have to live here due to its facilities and secondly, i was born in Faisalabad and its tough for me to leave it now.

I want to live in the country. I'd want tons of land and lots of horses/cows/etc. I do like the convenience of living in the city.

Okay. as a kid I lived in a small town and had a lot to do with friends. My mom remarried and moved us to the country. Talk about boring. I did have a horse to ride but even that was boring after awhile. Was about 5 miles for town so half the time I would walk to town or ride the horse in so I could hang out with friends. Now I'm married and have children of my own and we live in a small town. The cities are way to big for me. A small town is better and the country is to isolated.

I like the life of a city because everything is just a step away and facilities are much more in city as compared to a life in country.....................................

Definately country life. I love nature and the quiet so the country is perfect for me. I don't like all the hustle and bustle in the city life. People tend to be more rude in the city too.
