In my previous post, I asked people who they think is the most powerful among the cast. They all said it was Hiro. I said it was Peter Petrelli. Now I was right. He can mimic the abilities of everybody that he come in contact with and use it without them.

The word used was "empath." Not sure if that was really the correct term to coin, but I'll live with it... especially since this show has kept me coming back week after week with full anticipation and - aw hell I just love the show! I think Peter is probably the most important of all the heroes. Once he can learn to control it, anyway. It's the common story - someone who dreams of something greater, knows that he/she has a greater purpose, finds out they actually do have a special power, find out it's a great power, learn to control it and become powerful. Peter has the personality to use that power for good... whereas someone like Sylar is, well, if you watch the show you know. I think that the most powerful part will be when they get together and learn how to work together... and learning who exactly is good and who exactly is bad is something I can't wait for!!! Cuz as we all know there are a few people that just cannot be "made" just yet and other things... Will Suresh be the Heroes version of "Charles Xavier" or will it be Claire's father? Or someone else.... Things like that. And is it just me or did finding out that Nathan Petrelli is Claire's biological father just shock the living crap right out of you??? I think I stared at the screen for 10 solid minutes after the show ended with my jaw fully dropped to the floor.

A week before episode 14 was aired, I made a post asking people whom they think Claire's father is? I stated that it might be Nathan Petrelli, but other people thought it was Linderman or Mr. Bennett himself. So I was right, and it didn't shocked me becuase I was expecting Nathan to be shown.

I think that it makes sense that Nathan is Claire's father since we've already found out that abilities seem to run in families. So it made sense that it would be someone that we already knew had an ability.

I always knew that peter was the strongest of the herooes. Because if he comes up against any of them... he can use their powers against them and also, when up against two... he has powers of both combined. Also now we know that he can use the powers without the person. Also if anybody has paid attention... they'll notct that many heroes probably have minor variants of the same power. For example Sylar and Peter can both absorb and retain multiple powers. Sylar absorbed someone's power who could recover from bullet wounds like Claire.. He can vanish similar to claude... etc.

Yeah, it's very cool! And it's confirmed by one of the recenet episodes where we get to see the future and Peter is like "thee" guy to find if you need a problem fixed due to him being so powerful. The difference between Sylar and Peter, besides the obvious, is that Peter just has to be in the presence of someone with powers to aborp their power, whereas Sylar needs to open up their skull and look at their brain to "see how that works." At least, so far that's what we know about how he does it. We know he kills them because he wants to be powerful and the only one with said power, due to a recent episode... but we don't yet "really" know how he gains others' abilities. It will be interesting to find out!
