What is a mirror website?

A mirror website is when a person has an exact duplicate of one at a different URL. For example we have http://www.mylot.com but they could have a mirror site at http://www.mylot.net or anything else they wanted to use. Some people will do that on numerous urls especially when they are on free hosting. In case one goes down they are still up elsewhere.

as what i understand about the mirror website i think it reflects you!...its reflects your attitude, personality, and other things about you!...that's was an opinion from me!...
