Do you celebrate easter and if you do how do you generally spend your easter day? We hide easter eggs the night before so that our 3 year old son has an easter egg hunt when he gets up lol, then we spend it visiting with family usually and give each other easter eggs, nothing too expensive, just a little token and we have a nice meal. Is there any special tradition you follow? Let me know thanks:)

We don't really do anything. We do color some eggs since they do like hard boiled eggs. It is beginning of garden season. We have plenty to do getting the garden ready to go. It is a season of renewal and supposedly hope. Of promises made and we acknowledge that and go on. I am glad you can spend it with family.

we used to paint eggs and go somewhere and roll them but now my sons and my grandchildren feel a bit too old for that ( I'm not lol but nobody to go with ) we used to bye them eggs but they were getting to many so now we give them a little money to buy themselves something nice . we like to go to church on a Sunday to and easter Sunday is a special service , It is just a happy day when we see all of our family xx

I haven't celebrated Easter since moving to Scotland. When I was in Alaska, my brother would have me over for a proper meal. Vera would be cooking all day and laying on a very impressive spread. She's a great cook and has shared many of her recipes with me.

Oh , I love Easter and as it is getting closer I am getting more excited . I love it because it is so much fun watching the children and seeing their faces when they see what they got . I finished off the last of what I had to do today . I always hide the stuff for the younger one's and they have to find it and every year I come up with a game for the older children . I can't explain on here as they know my password on here and would be checking it out for sure as they are curious about what I am planning this year . We usually start the morning where the children have to have something for breakfast as the rest of the day is going to be spent more on junk lol . We usually go visiting as well and I make a ham for supper . It is just a fun day with the children and going to visit family and friends and taking the time to spend the day as a family which I always like as we don't get to do this all that often with everybody having different schedules .
