as a shinigami,she must posses a zanpaktuh..like kurosaki ichigo has zangetsu, renji has zibamaru and the others.

zanpakutuo means swords my brother. every shinigami has their zanpakutuo maybe what you are referring to is the shikai, the second form of their sword. zangetsu and zibimaru are the name of the their zanpakuto. Rukia has the most beautiful and cleanest zanpakutuo in the soul society. and ice is the power of rukia. what episode are you watching?? im in episode 124 already. try this website for more info about bleach. narutomanai.com or the narutoportal.com and the mininorva.org.

your right dude, rukia has a zanpakutuo, a beautiful & powerful zanpakutuo. her zanpakutuo is a rare one. ice is the main power of her zanpakutuo.

zanpaku-to are swords but they actually mean "soul slayers" i think it was. anyway, it has soul in it. and yes Rukia does have a very beautiful and pure zanpaku-to called sode no shirayuki (sleeve of white snow. I think) her shikai (first realese) has to do with ice...makes you wonder what her bankai (full release) will look like, neh?
