Are beauty pageants good or bad?

Depends on the person's viewpoint and beliefs. I try to keep an open mind on all things and keep a third person's perspective so that I'll see all the pros and cons of the situation or topic. As for beauty pageants, well, to each his own.

I think if it is something you want to do then no its not bad however if it is something you don't want but a parent wants for you then yes.

I dislike beauty pageants for the same reason that I dislike professional sports. It's not a good idea to get children into something that competative. These days too, parents tend to get totally weird about their children in such contests, and they put way too much pressure on them to win, making the children disappointed if they don't.

I think beauty pageants are good for evryone. It gives you glory, honor and pride for yourself and your family. I've joined one myself and it's one of my most memoranle moments. It's all worth your efforts and trainings and diet controls.
