What genres of movies do you like most?

I like scifi movies the most. Movies are a form of escape from reality and science fiction movies are as far as you can get. I also like mysteries, something I have to figure out.

I like sweet funny movies just to take me away from the real world. SO basically I like comedies. It makes me laugh. It makes me happy. But I don't like the sophomoric humor where the main humor is bodily parts going everywhere. I like more satirical humor. I also like movies that is inspiring. For example, I like the pursuit of happyness, that was a good one. It helps me focus on life and the things that are good. I sometimes also watch documentaries. Only when I'm not too busy though...

I don't know if horror movies and psychological thrillers give me another perepective on life, they just pretty much make me think what if the things going on in the movie went on in real life and would anyone survive them...

I love horror, gothic, crimes, psychological horror...anything with bloods and bizzarre twists...the latest gothic horror movie i watched is The Reaping...man, the best horror movie in 2007...the sound effects is great and the story is good...and Hilary Swank is an added bunos...hehehehehehehehehehehe...

There are alot of movie genre that I like, I could not pick one and say this I like the most. However I can pick one and say, This I hate the most - And that would be "Sci-Fi". I hate them all, from Star Trek to Terminator series. Every time I watch a Sci Fi movie I would have this urge to cut off my head and take out my brain. Then, perhaps can I enjoy the show. They are almost always made by arts major who have no idea at all of how science works (Except for StarTrek I think they have some credible scientist on their payroll). They probably think physics can be used to tell fortune too!

It's true, the right movie can inspire people to do great things. The opposite is also true. As for which genre(s) I like the most: horror, science fiction and fantasy, in that order, are my top three!
