A Toast To Mylot and Friends ... Cheers!

Awwww, thank you Vanilla. I know what you mean about the meaningless discussions though... I sometimes get so fed up with looking for a topic to get my teeth into, only to end up wading through two or three pages of waffle first, but on the whole, friends and witty people make this site. I hope we all have a long and happy relationship here, in Mylot. I've had a lot of fun in the six months I've been here. Thank you for your response and Brightest Blessings, my friend.

I WILL be back at some stage, but can't say when just yet. I really enjoyed meeting you and the laughs we had, especially with "that" cake. lol. So when do we hear the story of "that" cake? My mind goes wild with imagination at what could happen when Gabs and a cake get together - and if Gissi had a hand in it - or worse still, a paw - well ... ...

I agree your thoughts all the way here, Cloud. Steve will be sorely missed, as he was the sort of guy than anybody could befriend, despite differences in his beliefs, etc. He is genuine and knowledgable, (except where it comes to oak) ha ha ha. He was witty, old fashioned in his ways and had a great command for the English language, old and new, making him a very interesting body. The area we differ in Cloud, isn't so different, as I have learnt, thanks to you. You've taught me one or two things, in discussion, that I didn't even think about before and I have come to realise that in certain areas of life, we believe a quite similar theory. However, that aside, we have the maturity and understanding to not judge each other's beliefs... we found other, like interests and became friends, which as far as I'm concerned, was one of the best moments of my life... yes, I appreciated you putting me on the rack in argument, and was surprised at how you managed to get me to talk about things that I had held so close. :-) I think that, in a way, gave me the confidence to share my beliefs, and respect for you, not even considering all the interesting life history we can relate to. As for Gabs... she radiates love and light wherever she goes and is such a lovely person that she can't fail in receiving all she gives back, in abundance. She's bubbly, a good conversationalist, laughs off the bad moments and everybody she meets, adores her. There are several others whose paths have crossed mine, as with you... they will always have a place in my heart, and it's all thanks to Mylot. Now, the Garden Party... I have two friends coming over from Canada next year, and possibly a third female from Ottawa, with my Sis from Washington State. It's just a matter of being able to get them all together to arrive at a similar time... shall we have a go at this, Cloud? We're going to have to have this "Garden" Party in Hyde Park at this rate. ha ha ha ha Thank you for such a lovely response, Cloud and Brightest Blessings.

It was funny at the time too, Vanilla... believe. I just sat and observed and stored stuff in my head for later recording. :-) That was a great day, amongst four of them. I love to meet my online friends, and Gabs was great. She's just as she appears on here... no frills, no pretences, just a whole lot of giving and caring. Thank you, Airnavigator. I am home, safe and sound once again, and would like to say that I have not just made good friends on Mylot, but some very special friends.
