how many hours your cat sleep every day?

My cat sleeps a lot. I don't know exactly how many hours, but I think he gets bored. Maybe that's why cats sleep so much.

i dont know how many hours my cat sleeps in a day. but i hate his sleeping hours. Usually before i leave for work (9:00AM) he is already sleeping when i come back in the evening at (6:30pm) he is still sleeping and will wake up at around 7:30pm. he will wake up and eat and stretch (my God i love they way he stretches) some meow coz he wants to play.... he will then go back to sleep at around 10:00pm wake ups at 12:00 then again sleep then again wake up at 4:00 then sleep then wake up at 6:00. my problem is that whenever he wakes up, he wake me up toooooo.... but still i love my cat

I have a cat, his name is Tomy. I live in an apartment and I don't let my cat to go out because he is scared and he isn't in safe out, and I don't want to happen something bad with him, because I love him very much. If I go at home just in the evening he sleep all day. Sometimes i wander how my cat can sleep so much. I think that my cat is more lazy than yours :) he sleep more than 12 hours / day.
