why Sleepless is better for me

Not sure if most people would agree but in this movie, the thrill factor was less. also, they ending up together was sort of a given. adversaries - becoming friends - falling for each other - the end. i still think it's a nice date movie. but if i had just enough money for 1 DVD and i had the choice between this and Sleepless, i'd go for Sleepless. every time i watch it, it never fails to make me smile wistfully when they finally hold hands.

i guess "you've got mail" has quite an impact to me more than "sleepless in seattle". it may have the same elements but when meg's and tom's characters finally kissed in the end, i couldn't help but cry. imagine if this love story would be true-to-life, the emotions involved here would be overwhelming. i don't know, probably because i was able to watch "you've got mail" first, which paled the excitement in "sleepless in seattle". and the latter was supposed to be inspired by some classic romantic movie or so. was it the one with cary grant and deborah kerr? sorry, i couldn't remember the title but it's just in my head. anyway, i wish we have more movies for meg ryan these days. she seems out of the spotlight. i really adore her in romantic comedies. despite her age, she can still sizzle with any other top hollywood leading men. what with her dancing blue eyes and contagious smile. and she's gorgeous in any hairstyle too!

Never seen sleepless. So cant say much about that. But yeah, You've got Mail is one of the best love stories i believe. The movie never meant to be thriller. But a romantic story. I agree that the end was quite obvious, but so is with almost all love stories. Its the presentation that matters and that was awsome in this movie

and the story also told something about change when you must face it,though the end is too romantic, but without this ending it made some sense too.Maybe Kathleen always wanted to do something out of bookstore, but hadn't the courage.so she wrote,"I lead a small life, valuable but small.and somethimes i wonder,do i do because i like it or i haven't been brave." I think she wrote the problem most people has but hasn't said. So the story really discribed a situation that people have in common. Now want to choose this movie?
