Referrals and Oysters - a Story

I read a story that said that you only find pearls in about 3 of every 100 oysters.
How does that relate to getting referrals for myLot or any other plan?
The success rate is just about the same. Less than 5% of the people you meet will be interested in doing enough to make any money with an opportunity.
So how many buckets of oysters are you willing to go through to find your priceless pearls?

There are lots of people who would argue with you on referrals being a waste of time.
Take the time to learn how to get referrals and see if you might change your mind (and your bottom line).

well, i don't have a website, and really don't even know how, it looks complicated, and the people on here with referrals seem to have those. its just a lot of work. i have a couple of friends i referred, but they lose interest fast and then i go back to none. i realize there must be some important things i dont know about the internet, because obviously i have no active referrals, but the time it takes to go through getting them for the pennies i make, i could be working, and getting real money fast.

I am not really too fussed about referrals because to make you rich you really would have to have hundreds and hundreds working for you and I think that would be very very difficult.
I have 3 and between them very very little has been done but they are people I know personally.

I have over 720 referrals here but only about 60 are active in any one month so that is less than 10%. Check the 'top referrers' link at the bottom left of this page.
That is the name of the game with the internet - it is all about numbers; big numbers. If you want to earn on the net you need to have a popular website and that takes time and effort.
No free lunches in the world, boys and girls!! haha
