How to improve my speaking English

China

Dear friends, I have learned English for two years, however, I find my speaking English are still very poor. In the beginning, I attribute it to the lack of words and expressions. it takes me too much time to remmenber words and expressions. Unfortunately, in most time, those words can not be used and the result is that they are all forgotten. This terrible thing troubles me and I think I must be crazy. How to express my feelings and thoughts in native English? Are there any tips and advice to practice speaking English? Dear friends, do me a favor, please.

Well, you're now doing yourself a favour. =] You're correcting the non-use for those words you keep forgetting. If you post constantly, you'll read and write in English a lot, so it will you become a natural thing for you. good luck with your English!

Greetings chongzhangscu, and welcome to mylot.. I'm not a native english-speaker, but I can say that you have a good choice of words to express yourself. I'm glad that you came hear to mylot, as this site might help you more in understanding the english language, just like what I am experiencing now. Back then, I try to read books from english comprehentsion up to literature. It provided me some backgrounds in looking for more deeper language, it's uses, meanings and pronounciations. Reading the english dictionary is also a great help..=)
