We are all having setbacks and losses now-why?

Its like a tsunami this wave of losses sweeping through our discussions. All of us are having them right now.One very talented writer in mylot recently lost everything in a housefire, another shining star lost her beloved pet, another has her security being threatened by a clerical error in Social Security, and on and on it goes. I just received news that sets me back. My roommate has been paying for repairs and storage on his airstream camper-beloved dream he had of moving into it at a campground here for the summer, of traveling on camping trips with his younger brother, and he went today to retrieve it and discovered it was virtually destroyed, in storage- smashed evidently by another camper or a truck. He won't be able to repair it and he did not have insurance on it. We have been so broke all winter. We both looked forward to living alone again. We struggle and struggle and never get ahead. My brakes went out on my car two nights ago and he had planned to fix them today. I took a day off from work, which is a high risk thing. I had pheumonia all the past ten days and just recovered enough to get out and move around- and my brakes fought back as I was driving. He said it sound like calipers- its going to be expensive even without having to pay for labor. there's more but why mention it. I feel so discouraged. and I wonder what'going on? I believe in a pattern to things, but I also think thre are random universal winds that blow across bringing joy or sorrow to whole sweeps of people and other creatures. Does it feel to you like that's what this all is?

Count me in on that tidal wave sweetie.
Because I have been having a heck of a time lately too.
Even at my doctor's appointment today...the doctor didn't even have a very good bedside manner!
Heck, they even called me yesterday to tell me that we needed to fast and when I told them that we had...it got the girl in trouble that she told us mis-information.
Yup! Everyone seems to be riding on the tidal wave.
Let's just hope my partner is not surfing that wave...because he has been having interviews for these past couple of weeks. I have tried to ensure his good fortune and ability to have smooth interviews by giving him a malachite stone to carry.
So, I am going to have faith that he will not be disappointed. :)
Sorry about all the negatives honey.
Maybe we all should start carrying around some sort of stone. :)

Yeah, She should use a pot, like Pagan Woman! :)
Oh, by the way, I recommend carrying a Hematite, and a piece of Jadestone... The flux will bring some shakiness, but I feel that it's Good...

Its like we're getting static in our reception- I'm using way too many metaphors and similes here. But this thing is invisible with many very tangible effects.There is as Peaceful described a surge of energy, and with enough focus we can make if bring us treasure and drop the trash some other where. Hematite is good for absorbing the negatives, and Jade is excellant for money (getting not losing)..

I can see how you both would suggest those stones.
But for some reason, my partner will get very nervous during interviews and will not come across as his true self.
While malachite also draws money, it also soothes, calms, and heals.
It has also had an effect on his interviewers by making them more relaxed about the interviews also. :)
He interview went really well yesterday and it was the third interview.
I am very happy for him. :D

Yes, even if those richest people in this world experience those things. We can never really say when setbacks will happen to us and who will it gonna strike. For me, at times i just felt that things are out of my way and that i felt i am punished for the things that i have done before.... i really don't know..i just think that all things happen for a reason.

I agree with your observation- money is what it is, and even having alot of it can be problematic in ways that are different from the no money set of crappy conditions. All the money in the world would not have helped our friend when her cat's time on earth was over. I personally don't believe in punishment as such. I think we are created in love and as hard as it is to accept the love is not a punishing source. I think guilt is a political tool, whipped up and at us to get people in line to give over their power. I'm not alone in that notion, either. Instead of guilt over th epast, we can sometimes quite rightly experience regret. With regret we can examine what we've done -if we can do so with compassion for ourselves, then we can see what we would have changed about the past and learn from it. sometimes that's not possible, then we have to set it aside and look again in the future when perhaps we have better understanding. I regret alot of things myself, but it only turns into guilt when I lose compassion and judge rather than examine; when I'm angry at myself and want to punish- but I know better and I think this is true for others as well. When you love who you are, and why on earth wouldn't you?, and look at past actions as a loving person would, you are ready to understand what really motivated you then, and forgive the mistakes and know from that how to behave in a way true to who you are. Do you understand what I'm trying to say?

yaa, it may be that there is bad time fior most of us. I am not a start writer or not taht i don't know. but few days back I have also lost my Debit card. now i'm really in a problem as the new card has not arrived and i am getting so much of conflicting informations.I am in tension right now.

I had my debit card fraudulently accessed a couple of times. My bank caught it once and I caught it the other- but during that period of no card in hand, the bank will usually get the number available to you to use for on line and over the phone purchases- if that helps. this is a tough spot for you, and I feel badly for what you are going through. I'm wondering if you shouldn't find a more user friendly bank??so that you can be confident of the information they offer you. Keep your friends here updated on your progress with this thing. I know we will be sending good energy to you.

Did you know that nothing is radom.
Everything is energy and you shape that energy in which ever way you choose.
Don't get me wrong here, i'm not making light of the situations here.
But what you choose to be fed by sustains you no matter what that may be,
and what you also feed becomes stronger.
Cause and affect. Therefore the cause is easy to figure out as well as the affect.
Its simple really.

there is a collaboration but -I agre with you- in that we set the tone, or tune the channel-however you want to analygize- so we have the rsponsibility of that much, but at what point? In that some of this stuff is from way back in time, and some of it from an hour ago. Fine tuning is called for, alot of self knowedge.

Oh arcadian, I'm sorry to hear about what you are going through. It seems that troubles are always on our side. I recognized some of the members you mentioned. Life really is never easy. It is a series of complications and confusions. After we have resolved one problem, another one will be presented to us. It can be pretty tiring struggling with all of it.
But my friend, please don't be discouraged. You are not alone in feeling this way. We each have our own joy and sorrow in life. Have more courage and never ever lose hope.

thank you- but my observation is that it has been virtually everyone, it has been this past week, it has been sudden, most of it without warningm and left a deep wake ( seashore term). I'm just wondering why. What planets are our daily horoscopes not warning us about- and what good would a warning do?

actually.. i do belive in a pattern of things.. i've been bad luck recently.... i lost alot of money.. and i think it's time for me to stop my investment. .i'm not making any money.. but losing more and more.. i think it's a warning for me.. well.. i tried my best to stop it.. who knows? i think this is some kind of challenge for me? erm.. it's hard to say.. i'm afraid if i give up.. i might lose even more.. and then i will feel more sad.. don't you think so? i think this is just life.. there are always ups and downs.. and don't let it affect your life.. stay strong.. and life goes on =)

Alot of stocks dipped pretty low there for awhile and then shot up fast. Do you have a reliable advisor? I understand wanting to cut your losses, but at the same time wouldn't you hate it if you sold at a loss and then watched the value return to those same investments? I'm sure you pay attention to what the analysts broadcast, and no doubt have your favorites among them. I would see what they have to say before doing anything absolute. And best of luck to you.

It feel as if the Cosmos is having a flux of some sort... I mentioned this feeling on an earlier discussion of mine... and I just noticed this pattern with a lot of other social network, too.
Some people are having a grand time of it, and others are going through "turbulence" of a most horrific nature... my senses have been surging with this thing all week, and it seems that the only relief to be had is to get Outside... it's so very intense. I drew a rune that may provide some clarity, but I won't do an interpretation until after sundown...
I really hope that you are feeling better and that your troubles will settle down quickly.

You know, it does seem like there have been a lot of setbacks among the mylot people lately. It's funny, but I recognized each and every one of those ones you mentioned. And then for me there are my health problems, those are ongoing but they got a lot worse than usual recently.
I'm so sorry to hear about your own setbacks! How horrible! It's so sad when someone is almost at their dream and loses it like that! I do hope things look up for all of us soon!
I like the way your phrased that idea, universal winds. I know my friends and I often talk about positive and negative energies that seem to affect large numbers of people at once, all in different ways but at the same time. It's a very interesting thought. If this is what's causing all this sadness, then I'll pray to every God I know for a change of winds soon.
