do you always use umbrella when getting out?

I never use an umbrella because I just feel like that is just something else I have to worry about hauling around and not forgetting somewhere. In the sun, I use a ton of sun block because I am allergic to the sun and get burnt very badly, very easily. In the rain, I just hurry to where I am going or put my hood up on my shirt/jacket/coat. Yes, I often use an umbrella, because of the summer heat, umbrellas can obstruct sunlight, I did not like to use, but I heard people say direct contact with sunlight easily killer, I have an umbrella habits.

Very rarely. I hate to take a lot of things with myself, prefer my hands to be free. If there is a strong rain and i have no so urgent work outside, it`s better to wait the rain to stop.

I always use sunscreen when i go outside-even if i'm only going downstairs for 10 minutes to hang outthe washing. I live in Queensland Australia which is the city with the highest rate of skin cancer in the world. We're lucky these days because we are aware of thedangers of the sun, but people only 1 generation ago would bake themselves in the sun for the sake of a suntan! I don't use an umbrella, because as someone else said, it's another thing to haul around but I do wear a hat. It's very important to be sun safe-although we do need a little bit of sun every day for general health- vitamin D and so forth.

I am very diligent to bring along with me an umbrella specially now that it's rains then shine again. It is never a problem to me carrying it because I know how useful it is. I don't want to be problematic going out just because of the rain, at least I have an umbrella to shed myself from the rain.

Hi cherriemae, I do have an umbrella with me when I go out and its raining. I don't mind using an umbrella its for my own protection. :-)

I don't usually use one because normally I don't have far to walk so I just run. It's more trouble than its worth to fool with if I'm not walking far.

yes i always use umbrella when going out, its double purpose i guess that is when it rains i can still use it.

I am girl and i really need to bring my umbrella everytime i go out because it is summer here and its very hot about 36 degrees and above.Its very hot,it is not good for our skin.I dont like to go out when i dont have my umbrella with me.I have many umbrella at home with different colors and style and umbrella is very useful to me because our school is open and it is very hot no shield.

i make it a habit to bring with me an umbrella whenever i go out. rain or shine if that's how you see it to be. it is too hot at daytime and it may rain in the evenings, we can never tell what the weather will be like. i'd rather play it safe.

My husband will carry an umbrella with him when it is raining hard here. A mist is no big deal to him but he doesn't like to get drenched. I carry an umbrella for rainy days. I don't carry one in the summer. I use sun screen on my exposed parts. We have a neighbor sown the block. She is grandma to the kids there. She walks to the store that is about 5 blocks total for her. She walks slo and leisurely and always has a nice big umbrella shading her. She has a push cart that is big enough for 1 or two bags of groceries she pulls along behind her. The kids are teens now and don;t walk as much with grandma but when they do they usually carry the umbrella or she will carry and they will pull the cart. The boy mostly.

In Italy people use umbrella just in the rainy day so I'm considered strange because I bring it with me always, also in the sunny days. It has many uses for me: it protects from the water and from the sun but also from ill-intentioned, from dogs and it's useful in the supermarckets to reach products upwards!

I actaully never use an umbrella when I go out. I don't even own an umbrella. In the summer months I wear sunscreen to avoid getting a burn. If it is raining out I will wear a light jacket that has a hood on it.

i don't use umbrella even it's hot. I always forgot my umbrella everytime i bring them so i always not bringing my umbrella and i always lost it. I just bring umbrella when it's raining:) Happy posting my friend:)

I do have an umbrella but when i need it, it's in the boot of the car and I find it's much easier to just make a quick dassh from the car to wherever i'm going! Its like green shopping bags-i have heaps of them but never rememebr to use them! Besides, when it's raining I tend to avoid going out. I prefer to stay inside in front of the TV. I think rain coats should make a comeback-we shoudl all just walk around with bright orange raincoats and a rain hat to match!

I use a lot of sunscreen, but I am not usually in a situation where an umbrella would be much use in the sun. I don't always use one even when it is raining, but I will almost always have one in my tote bag or in the car during the *rainy* season. hi cherriemae. No. Never. It is not a question of comfortability for me. I always tend to lose things. I find it a hassle too. To be opening and closing umbrellas while on the move. As much as possible when I do need to go out on a very hot day. I keep to the shade. I love the rain so unless it is really a downpour, no umbrellas. Thanks and good day.

No I don't use one, I like the sun very much and tolerate the heat, I have no problem in walking or sitting in the sun for long, I actually enjoys it :) as for sunburns you can use sunscreen if you will go to the beach or stay in the sun for extended periods.

I only use umbrellas when its raining, but if it is not raining I dont use umbrellas.
