Do u think that resting Sourav Ganguly from the Ban tour was the right decision?

Hello Friends!!! What do u think??? Was this a right decision to drop Sourav Ganguly from the Bangladesh tour... He is right now growing in confidence, and moreover he is the only player in the Indian team who is currently in his best form... Personally i don't think that this was a right decision at all to drop Ganguly from the team.... And moreover to the surprise of everybody, Sehwag is given a chance again despite his poor performance over an year now... According to me, Ganguly should be kept in the side, as there is no reason at all to be rested.. The entire Indian team has got rest since the World-cup defeat... It has been almost a month now... I think that there is definately some dirty politics going on in the BCCI... What do u think friends??? Replies r most welcome...

I also think resting ganguly and scahin is right decision.Team managament said there is 45 one days to play this year ..so they have to give the rest to all playes turn by turn including Dravid. They have rested Ganguly and Sachin because bigger and better and tougher series are ahead of Indian team.

I feel that it was a harsh decision on sourav's part to be dropped at the time when he was in very good form after a great comeback......i think that politics should ke kept away from cricket only then our cricket team can regain its supremacy....

Im a pakistani but being ur native friend I want to say ke maybe yes because if the board has taken the decision they have thought something behind it and so they ban him from world cup. Losing india was not only because saurav was banned. There are many other reasons behind it.

Dada - amazing!! The one word that describe his persona is "Awesome". I do not think it is the right decision to drop him from the coming Bangla Tour. Whenever we try for new players we lost 90% of the matches. So if we loose this time at BAngla then not only our cricket prestige will go down but we would be made joker in the cricket. We know that Dada scored the maximum number of runs on our Behalf in the recent concluded world cup. The indian cricketing saga got biggest jolt and Bangla tour could prove to be the last nail in the coffin. I would definitly preferred all ov our senior players in the coming world cup. Either send all the Senior Players to this tour or send a entire different time and retain only Dravid as captain.

No its not a right decision because know he is in a good form and whenever a player in good form why are you drop him. i think if any one wants to drop so drop Dhoni, Sehwag and also dravid because they are not played well know. so i think its bed decision to drop sourav ganguly from the Bangladesh tour.

I feel the selectors want to try out new players as chief selector Vengsarkar has told that there will bea rotation policy in place as there is busy international season for the indian team. And so there is an effort to build a pool of 25 players to choose from at any time to replace inc ase of injuries to key players. I also feel some of the selections didn't make sense. As hardly any younsters made to the team excpet manoj tewari in the one day team.

Sourav is a great batsman. He has been growing in form since his inception months ago in our team. I was a also surprised when i heard that sehwag is in the team. This is ridiculous. That sehwag has to prove himself onw. Ganguly is gaining confidence now, and also we lack a good opening batsman. Saurav Ganguly is far more better than sehwag in this aspect also. Cant understand BCCI's politics, what we can do! Happy mylotting!

They drop ganguly because they want to give a chance to newbe. this is right desicion. they should experiment as much as posible. IF they need to drop dravid and sachin they also can . it will help them to analyse a good team for next performence.Though Dravid and sachin is injuried.now only few exprenced player left in team .now have to see what they will performing against presser.

Ganguly is a legend. He brought Indian team to new heights. Hope he improves and able to again join the team. He is a real Tiger, the Bengal tiger. Hope he plays more well and guides India to the next world cup.
