Ladies, would you buy yourself an expensive ring?

If you saw one you really wanted, and had the money, but were not married or engaged, would you buy it just to wear. Supposing it was considered an engagement type ring, would you still buy it?

February of 2006, I exchanged an expensive necklace I received for X-mas from a client that owed me a lot of money. After returning my 4th engagement ring in 2004 to an a** that didn't deserve it back, I decided to get a right hand ring. It's valued at 5000.00. After exchanging the necklace, I paid 1400.00. Don't regret it at all. Wear it on the right hand and it feels great to know that I don't have to return it to anyone.

I just read your story. You must of done something for him or her to show qualities worthy of praise and merit for you to earn something of such value which warranted and justified your outstanding work. Those types of clients are far and few between, I have one client that owns me $7,200.00 for over one year. Your very lucky to have a good, honest and trustworty client that keep his word and paid. All I can say are those clients are far and few between. Harder yet is to be greatly reward in the right manner. It is amazing to discover or perceive by chance the unexpected. A ring, that is of great love and fondness, and forever yours with meaning of "its mine and no one will every ask to have it returned." Forever yours. Since it cost you %5,000.00 I believe with all my heart, it's a product so fine and awesome, one of high quality and standards with exceptional sparkle, that it is just breathtaking, amazing, and stunning by the value. Good for you,to have brought the ring through ones own action. It signifies it was meant to be, on your own finger and no one else, and it was meant to be forever. May you always have client(s) that measure up to the spirt or divine power presiding over a thing or place. All I will say to you is, I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth, and I have always want to do something like this for myself, but never did and from your answer above, either had you,(the cost gave you away). But I am really glad to read your response to this question. It is a heart warming story, You have that ring as a result of ones own achievements, you have been blessed and smiled on with much happiness. If it not for the client, that divine being and if not for your life experences used to express your wishes and hopes, Gods absolute truth would not come out. Good things are bound to happen. When you have faith in the truth. I hope I can collect my money from my client so I to can do something I won't regret and won't have to return.

I would, I'm married but when I was single I had some nice rings. I also liked having a big fake diamond ring, I'd pretend I was married when I'd go bar hopping. Most of the time that worked, but I always got the losers that thought they should change me lol.

There is always that ONE who insists that you should try something different, even though you are married, isn't there? I really pity the wives of those guys, and just want to find them and shake some sense into them!

No because I am married and don't wear a ring I am just not comfortable with them on my fingers start to hurt. I used to wear a necklace with them on but, that broke and I haven't replaced it.

There's nothing wrong with a woman buying herself a nice ring. The right hand rings are a great marketing device for single women who like the look of a diamond ring, but are tired of waiting for a man to buy one for them. You can still have a beautiful diamond ring, but just wear it on your right hand so people won't think you got engaged.

I wear my ring on my left hand, its one of a kind and actually looks like a weddingring. it does tend to keep away the losers when I'm out at the bar with my daughters and friends.

Absolutely! If I had the money I would buy it. I love jewelery and rings especially. If anyone asks, you could say you asked yourself to marry you, lol.

I love to reward myself after ahieving certain goals that i wanted. I will buy anything that I feel it is a nice & worthy not excluding rings. In facts diamond ring is something i wanted to buy after I reach my ideal savings. Not yet now, may be sooner. :p

Well I don't own a lot of jewellery, I do want some though :) I always find something else to spend my money on and I don't know that even if I had the money to buy the ring if I would I would probably go and buy scrapbooking supplies or something. Ok but if I did buy the ring I would buy which ever one I liked and if it was an engaement type ring I just wouldn't put it on that finger :)
