after death- what is missing?

We humans die after a period of stay in this world. When a person dies, we say that soul has left the body,or there is no life in the body. My question is,COULD ANY ONE EXACTLY TELL ME, WHAT IS THE EXACT LOCATION OF THIS SOUL IN OUR BODY as long as one live, that is, where is it exactly present in our body.

well would you like a location based on a spiritual preface ? a biological preface? a religious preface? a logical preface ? How would you accept the definition of something that is truly undefinable by the human condition but perhaps better understood when applying something other than 'human condition' standards to comprehend it ? I mean, the soul to each and every one of us is conceived of differently and either remains or moves on depending upon how we have been indoctrinated in our beliefs. It is such a personal arena of life to discuss, many don't. It is great you brought these questions to surface, it means you are searching which is more than the average human stuck in condition does, to survive . . . sharing the light and happy holidays, Miss Erica Hidvegi, the Enlightenment_Advisor, B.A. Psych/M.A. Transpersonal Studies- Cnslng/Author, Artist, Photographer, Entrepreneur & Freelance extraordinaire

Thanks for responding Sojournseeker. If am to stand on a Spirtual preface, then how would i define soul? Is it something that flows throughout the body, along with that of the pure and noble thoughts, or is it the Divinity Within? Also, how do you contrive the Soul, and do you go by your studies, or by that of your religion? Take care and have a good day:)

just guessing here. I think it's in the brain. they said eyes are window to the soul, so if we open this "window" we'll see the cornea and then the brain. not so good with anatomy though

I responded mostly my friends' discussions, only because I have so many now active posting discussions. See if you've added me earlier to be your friend, you wouldn't have to wait 8 months :):) Nothing great in my personality, but I am lucky in the company of wonderful personalities :)

I think this question is meaning less. Your breath is all along the body. can you tell where is your breath exactly?? its just the same.

irregardless of religion and science, i think our soul is our mind and feelings. its what makes us alive. we have minds to think and we have feelings to feel (of course ^__^;;). i just don't know how to explain but that's what i think. ^__^

You ask very difficult questions, my friend. Ask simple ones... I wll surely answer. Anyway, why must you bother about the soul? What you see is your body. Take good care of it. Nourish it well... give it proper rest. See that you are always happy. Cheers.. and happy Mylotting!

It could be anywhere. Some say its in the brain along with the "mind" (but of course if you are more of a separate entity believer then this maybe a conflict). Some say its in the heart. There have even been claims both ancient and present that claim the soul is in another part of the body like the hair, the eyes, even genitalia. Others say it flows throughout the body as either a soul or something else. Soul, spirit, chakra, essence, (even katra perhaps?)... usually refers to some intangible self and is removed from the "mind" per say in some arguments. An interesting thought with this, perhaps the soul isn't physically on us but in another plane of existence. An existence intangible, imperceivable by mortals... I wonder.

It is very difficult questionj to answer. May be what we call mind is actually our soul.
