Password stealers

Why is it that there are people still dumb enough to get caught in the trap of giving out their password? I understand that some of the scams are really good, but come on!! When you click on the "friends" profile and all of the sudden you are loged out??? I don't think so! Not only that it isn't like people don't know that people are out there steating passwords yet they keep clicking on this kind of a deal! Many some people can be so dense.

I have to say i am very suspicious of password and account stealing. I tend to double check anything that looks odd. I even had one of those paypal ones and they even tampered my account to make the email look more legit. Thankfully i was smart enough to realise the link looked out of charicter for paypal and reported it.. i also send my "details" to them.. well made up some haha details just to make a point that they are stupid.
I have to say, some can be very clever, but everyone should realise by now how aware you have to be online these days with inportant information.

My point exactly! Anyone can be tricked but if you have done your homework and you still get gipped then in a way you have to give the person props for doing such a wonderful job of scamming you! I just think people should know by now that you can't be dumb on the internet and not get burned.

Yeah, I am far beyond suspicious, and I always use a different password for myspace than I would for anybody else. I hate internet thieves, I mean seriously do you have nothing better to do then steal other peoples passwords. I'm always looking up internet scams to make sure I dont get caught it one.
