Do you have to work? ( I do ) Have you decided what gift you're going to buy? Or do you think of special things you can you do for that special woman in your life? I came home from work yesterday and my daughter has started landscaping my yard :) She knows that with school and a new job, I just don't have much free time for yard work, aside from keeping it mowed, that is. NOW...if I can get her to clean the house and do my laundry, I'll be in 7th heaven....lol

Good luck on getting the rest done! lol I have to work tomorrow, so no special plans. My daughters are in Texas but will see my mom, so I'm ok with that. And I sent my mom a card and will call her tomorrow

Happy Mother's Day - I love you in red heart
today, sunday, the 13th of may is mother's day. let this one day reserved for mothers be a day of thankful loving for all that she has done for us, for all her sacrifices…and for all that she has unselfishly given up, for us. My plans include pampering her with a foot spa ala home; gift her with a spa treatment to ease those frayed nerves and tired muscles and later bring her to a movie she wants to watch or if it’s no longer showing in downtown theaters, rent or buy a CD or DVD (original) and let the whole family enjoy watching it together. Lastly, i will be treating her and the whole family to a restaurant for a dinner.

Most people are motherless, nobody to care and love them as mothers, how do they celebrate their own mother's day? Would they adopt a mother?

Happy Mother's Day! I created handmade gifts with each of the kids for the grandmothers in our lives using paint, scrapbook materials and their pictures. It was a lot of fun! We prefer giving gifts like that, then doing something for them when we visit that day (like put together something for their garden or whatever). I have no idea what's in store for me for Mother's Day, but I'm pretty excited about the possibilities. My children are still small (ages five, six and seven), so I know they'll be employing help from the man of the house. Let's see how well he does.
