What Would You Have Done If You Were In My Shoes ?

Yesterday afternoon while riding a jeepney, a young sexy lady seated herself beside me. Although the vehicle was not full, I can sense that she was trying to brush her curvacious body and ivory long legs to my body and her cleavage was such that I just cannot help myself seeing such a generous amount of display. When she alighted from the vehicle, my gaze was riveted at her beautiful legs when suddenly I felt something wrong. My wallet was now gone from my behind pocket. I stopped the jeepney and before she can run, I grabbed her and told her to return my wallet otherwise,I will call the attention of the police who was standing on a corner. She begun to weep and pleaded for forgiveness while handing me my wallet. She then told me that she needs the money to buy medicine for her sick father. Her weeping and her story moved me that right there and then, I gave her several bills for medicine, and invited her for a lunch at Mcdonalds. If you were in my shoes what would you have done? Will you have just forgiven her right there and then? Will you also have invited her for a lunch at Mcdonalds ?

No. Don't get me wrong here buddy but on a personal note, i won't bought her actions. Not a bit i felt pity with that girl? And why? Mainly because of her old tactics, all those gimmicks just to get what she wanted. Why on earth would she get flirty anyway? So as to divert attention of others? .. Well, she could've have at least ask for some help to others without doing that at all. You know what i'm tryin' to imply here? .. I've got compassion to so many things but helllo! We're living in the pinas, you know a lot of people here wants to take advantage of others. And if she's really telling you the truth, do you really believe her? You even invited her for some snacks, i assume you interrogated her and all the works. .

Oh yes, I did. She told me that when she was about to sit besides me, she saw my wallet bulging from my behind pocket and was nearing to popping out, which tempted her to take it while I was busy oggling at her. Anyway, she gave me a call just this morning to say hello and again to express her thanks for what I did

From that first sentence I was pretty sure she was conning you and I was right. That's a good thing you did, helping out her sick father. If I were in your shoes, if I really believed her story, I wouldn't have given her the money but bought the medicines myself. Sad to say, and I'm not being negative, that story has been played before. If you watch the news, it's not a really original excuse. But you believed her and maybe she really needed the money. Kudos to your kind heart. I hope it wasn't the physical appearance that got to you! Just kidding! And no, I wouldn't have invited her.

I agree that she wasn't being genuine. I think that she sounds like a very good con woman! But you have a very generous heart, I don't think I would have been so forgiving.

I think one of my weakness is I cannot stand to see a woman weep. Well anyway, I am happy to tell you folks that she called me today and again thanked me profusely for the assistance.

Lunch no ways...!! I could have bought her some medicines for her father but lunch no ways ..honestly may be..!! It can be judged by seeing her condition..!! But giving money in her hand is something I cannot do!! Cause people can fool you by saying that there parents are ill or brother or sister!! Infact I can buy her the medicines for some treatment of her father.

jeepney - one of transportation in the Philippines..
Looks can be deceiving! It's not right to trust strangers nowadays. I just hope the lady's story is true because if not you were fooled! You were kind enough to give the lady money and treat her at McDonald's.. Because you had lunch with her I can sense that you like her.

Yes, probably he likes her. I think even me with such an alluring appearance of admirable body girl as described would make me put in a complex idea of what would be the right thing to do of such an event. Otherwise, I greatly appreciate what he did of being generous to help.

Yes,in a way I was a bit attracted to her physically. But what got me most was when she started weeping. You see, I cannot stand to see a woman weep. I have this tendency to do anything just so I can make a woman stop crying.

definitely, you have been cheated at the time, friend, something like that I have met so much before hearing it again, also, once I have been cheated in the similar situation but just in different way, the cheater acted as outlander and asked me to help her with telling her the way to somewhere, I am also a outlander but I know a little about the place where I was in at the time, so I told her but she actually didn't stop asking me for other helps, she said she was hungry and didn't have food for several days just because she is a new comer in the city, unfortunately I believed her at the time and helped her to buy some food, but the thing has changed by her unusual actions when she ate. She just told me that she didn't have food for several days, but now she just ordered some quite expensive food, then I got to know I was in trouble, at the moment, I just want to say" you foolish and pitiful girl, but I did't, when I came back I told the thing to my freinds and they laughed with my statements and asked me: now you know what you have done ?

You have a good heart to do something like that. It depends, but in most cases I'll do the same though I smell lying in her story.

You were conned, my friend lol I doubt there was a sick father and if in fact your sure there was...you should have bought the medicine not just handed her money and no I wouldn't have invited her out to lunch. In fact this may sound mean but I would have turned her into the police...how many others had she stolen wallets from that they didn't know until too late. Now she is free to keep doing it. LIVE IN PEACE

Many thieves use a sick family member or some other excuse to con people out of money as a last resort. I would have contacted the policeman on the corner right away!

Forgive her? May I ask you if she was not attractive will you do the same? let her go and invite her to lunch? A crime is still a crime, beautiful or not she stole your wallet and she has to be punished for that. And shes using her looks for stealing other people's property.

I would have went and bought the medicine instead of going to mcdonalds. If it was a con job, then you would have found out, if not, then you still did the compassionate thing.

if you are in the philippines you will not give her money, because there are a lot people like that here, you should just bought the medicine and gave her the money, maybe u just like her thats why u gave the money and invite her for lunch..your such a nice guy to give her the money and invite her for lunch, your a very generous guy but next time ne careful becuase many people are like that, they just fooled you,.

Luckily, you've noticed immediately that your wallet was gone otherwise she would have gotten all your money, credit/debit cards etc. But still if I was in your shoes I would not have given her the money and treated her for lunch at McDonalds. However, I may have bought the medicine myself instead of giving her some money for her to buy alone. It was kind of you to give her some money for the medicine and even treated her for lunch at McDonalds. Let's just hope that she was telling the truth and if so then hopefully her father gets well soon.

Well there sounds like you were taking. LOL If this had happened to me and I caught her. I would have taken her butt right to police on the corner. Because shes going to keep doing this. You should have never given her a dime. You are a fool.

God bless you for being so generous and forgiving...Evidently the girl is a pickpocket! But do you believe her story about her father? Well, I don't...But I guess you have a soft spot with her because of her, ah, beautiful legs, and a bonus of a generous display of her cleavage and more...really, I can say that such story is an old one, she could have invented another story to be more believable. Your generosity really knows no bounds when you even brought her to McDo for a treat, and of course, some cash for the "medicine"...Men, you are prime targets of these kind of rackets by sexy ladies because you "bite the bait" more often than not...true?

i wouldnt invite her to a meal with me at macs... i mean this is totally insane... shes trying to get something out of me and i had to treat her to a meal? guess im petty... but i guess u should think over, stealing is wrong... so even if she needs the money urgently, she should have worked for the money and not resort to stealing... i am definately against the idea of this...

If something like that would happen to me then this is what will i do. I will observe her carefully and assess if she's really truthful about the alibi she is saying to me. Crying can be rehearsed, tears are not always true. I will watch her body languages, congruency of what her mouth is saying and what her body is saying. Im not rich, im a minimum wage worker so i wont give her any money. And no, i wont invite her for lunch, that would only waste my time. But i wont hand her over to the police, i will just take my wallet and leave. And say a couple of words to her, an advice, a warning. She could end up in a prison someday if she will repeat the deed again. If her story is really true, i dont care. Stealing is wrong and it shoud not be tolerated even if she is some kind of a beauty.
