have you heard about group marriage?

i've read just recently a definition of group marriage: it is a marriage consisting of two or more husbands and wives who share the same responisbilities and rights with each other.
isnt it amazing? that's the first time i came across such thing. :P
what about you guys? have you known about this before?

I have not heard about the Group marriage.........But the system of marrying a lady by the elder brother of the family and all the other brothers considering her as the wilfe(with same responsibilities and same rights) prevailing in some parts of India.

I've heard about it and I personally think it is wrong. A marriage is between 1 man and 1 woman not more than that. That's just how I feel though.

yes, i agree with you. marriage should be exclusively for one man and one woman only. marriage is sacred how come it became a group marriage where people can share each other's partner? weird!
