Hi there! I was just wondering if success = money. For me you can succeed in life and not be rich. We are here for a purpose, and not all of us are meant to be rich people. I learn to be contented with my life. Just do what you are supposed to do and you will be successful. :)

Your correct! Succes is not all about money. You can say that your successful when you reach your goal in life. If, you have a happy family, a beautiful career and a good life, yo can say that your successful because you have all what you want. Money only serves as a standard of value for measuring the relative worth of different good and services.

Nope..Money is not the key for you to be successful. What if you have money but no family, no friends..so what's the purpose of your money? I'm contented also with my life now with a balance lifestyle ;)

Yeah I agree with you there's a lot of people out there who have succeded in life but not that rich. For me maybe I can consider I have a succesful life but I don't have money coz I have my family specially my kids as a single mom I strive more to give them good education and my success is with them.

That's right. As long as you can do all your responsibilities well you are considered to be successful.

as for me i do see it is a trajectory to measure success and apparently it does except certain people gain this with so-called luck or fate however how could a mankind lives by these intangible greed therefore i'd rather regard it as a trajectory of a success, not the entire meaning of a sccess

I don't think success equals money. At least I hope not! No, but really, I think there are a lot of ways to gauge success, and I think that no matter what you do or what you have in life, if you can find a way to live happy and be a good person, then you will always be successful.

I think success looks different to everyone. Money does not equal success to me. Changing lives, integrity, friends and finishing strong is what success means to me.

Money is compared to success because when one has money it shows money makes people respect you.. I would have not said this 10 years ago but now money CAN also buy success and people and happiness.. There are few people who get where they want to be without money and succeed in life.. But there can be different kinds of success like being successful in one's personal life.

I agree with this completely . We can have success in our life by just being happy with who we are and what we have in life . One can me much happier without having money then another may feel having money . Money just makes paying the bills easier but it doesn't make you succesful or happy . Success is when you have accomplished all the goals you set our for yourself that are reasonable .

Being in the right place at the right time and helping another human being when they really need it is a kind of success. I always used to feel inadequate compared to many other people around me but now looking back on my life I have kind of found what the purpose of my existence on thgis planet is. Just to be there when some one needs me, it has always been the case and that is my life blueprint..but I won't say no to the money if it comes lol because I want to live with my Husband, it isn't nice living three odd thousand miles from each other is it lol?

Nope, I don't believe that; You got folks all over the world, and there are places where money is scarce, but they do very well. Success don't equal money; It really equals how you feel once the job is done. Whether or not you accomplished what you set out to do; Money, to me is usually the end result.

Success isn't defined by ONE accomplishment or feeling. A person can be successful in so many ways, and still remain unsuccessful in others. A person can succeed financially and still be a failure at kicking an addiction, or with parenting skills, or with completing a project. A person can find great success in a particular career or hobby, feeling much happiness from the accomplishments, yet remain financially unsuccessful.

No, not at all. For me, as long that I am happy, then that is success already. What's the use of success when you are not really happy. I have seen a lot of successful people and I am just wondering if they are really with it. Success comes with great responsibilities and I just don't like to have much responsibility. I don't like to be pressured so I just want to have a simple life not thinking much of the success. Just like you, I am contented with my life now and that I am living my life in a "come what may situation", LOL...

Success means differently to many. A lot will associate having a lot of money with success - this is an undeniable fact in many cultures! But, when you associate success with a sense of fullfilment and satisfaction, money is not necessarily a integral part of that. For me, as far as I can help others advance their goodness to help themselves and others, that provides me with a sense of success already - having achieved something. But, it is very true that once you reach the height of your career, money tends to grow accordingly and thus it would normally be associated with that success we all tend to be aspiring for. We do need money but I can equally be happy as long as me and my loved onces can live reasonably comfortable.

i dont think success has anything to do with money, and besides that the real meaning of success might differ from person to person, for some taking care of their loved ones might be the real success of life, while for others it might be the name and fame they have achieved in life. so i think the real meaning of success may vary from person to person

No, I don't think money always means success. To me there are a lot of other things that mean success. Like for one, if one obtained money through dishonesty, how can you call that being successful? Success should not step on other peoples rights, and or stepping on someone to get ahead, or to get what you want. Success is knowing that what success you have accomplished, was done with honesty and integrity.

Definitely NO. Money has never been the basis for success. For some people success means if they have been achieve with their goals in life. In my opinion, SUCCESS = HAPPINESS and HAPPINESS = CONTENTMENT . Those people who are genuinely happy and contented with their life are those who we can consider successful person.

Wont lie ,well to me the world does go this way money = success is 100% true if not why is every one running after for it countries invading to get resources i.e money, people fighting with each other for money, husbands & wifes fighting for money, just everyone i guess so its the real mover at this time and turns the things around, i haven't seen anyone whois too much happy without money living in a small house as everyone in this era knows about luxury and carving for them so at the moment money is a biggest of success factor even if bill gates doesn't have that much money he won't be called a successful man and there are atleast hundred of thousands others rich people who are also called successful man/woman.One can be happy for some time without money but in the end it will be always about it and you'll know it when you get a bit old.Happy mylotting new friend!

AS from my previous discussion before..money is the root of all evil, some agreed and some did not. It's the love of money that causes us to do evil. So if you have lots of money I know you have so many things to do (evil things I guess) but you're not happy just like the story in the Bible "The prodigal Son". The Son has lots of money but spent it all to his wordly cravings and when he lost everything he was not happy. For me..to become a successful person one must be contented of what he/she have. Where he/she can eat trice a day, pay the bills, let her/his children go to school and having work someday. I don't want to be rich. Rich people had so many problems. I just want to live a simple life. Where I will love and be loved. :)

I think success and money are two different things. Everybody can never be rich at a time. But they can be successful in their respective fields. Everybody has a target in life to achieve, when he gets there he is said to have achieved success. But that does not necessarily bring money. Often it does but not always, Achieving success is a totally different feeling altogether. It cant be bought with money...
