This is a function for Windows 2000/XP. You can make your computer speak and it's totally free of charge. click start--run input: narrator Then confirm it and after that you can hear the voice of your computer. I hope you will enjoy it.

Mac's have this fuction for ages now, thou I never used. It might feel weird to have a voice reading pages and e-mails. Well, I've never listened much anyway, I prefer music to my ears :)

we have never used it at home, too. it will be greatly beneficial for those who are encountering some reading problems. there are some of us who, although not blind, find some reading difficulties.

yes, i know about this feature. they showed it once on television. it was devised to benefit most the blind who are users of computers, too.
