I feel like a professional now

Okay all, I can't help it I am excited. I feel almost like a professional. I sold my first writing piece. I am sure for all of you semi-professional, or professional writers have join Associate Content a long time ago, but I just recently discovered it.
I summitted a piece about what being a deadbeat really means. I didn't make a whole lot from it, just $5. but I am really happy about it.
I am shocked it sold really, I wrote it quickly in under 5 minutes. I think it could have been better if I would have spent more time with it, I got interrupted while writing it though and lost my train of thought. Anyways I wanted to share the article with all of my mylot friends and anyone else on mylot that likes to discover new things.

After reading it let me know what you think. It is a very short article, Don't worry I didn't write a short novel, like I do sometimes here. lol

GOOD FOR YOU!!!! Please keep up the good work, and may you sell many many more as the days go on. I know how excited I was when I self-published my book, and began selling it. Now it's been picked up by an eBook publisher in Europe, and is selling well there too. I know how you feel, and it's a really great feeling.

Thanks for the support. That had to be exciting selling your book and now for it to be selling in Europe also. Wow, I hope one day I can do something like that. Reading and writing are two of my favorite pass times and has been since I was really little.
I have been floating of that good feeling now for a few days. I known for a few days now that my peice sold, but has been quitely savoring the flavor of selling my first sell. Yeah I am maybe just a little too excited about it, but I figure you only have once for selling your first piece, anything after that you are either better or worst than your first time. LOL

Hey Willow do you go by Willowlady on AC too. Let me know what your user name is so I can look you up over there too. Thanks for the compliment. I appericate it. I wish I would have added more to it now in hind sight, but like I said before I got interupted and lost my complete train of thought.

Great article Avonrep! I like your closing statements. Very well said. And yes, if they are not ready to have children and be responsible about it. They should really refrain to be parents. And save the life of innocent children from misery. Great article! (^^,)

No, I did not sign up...I am not a writer...which is evidenced by the number of responses I receive to my discussions here....LOL
I really enjoy myLot and it's forum....but just do not trust my writing abilities..
I did add the site to my favorites so that I can go back and read others writings...I will be watching for more from you...

Hi again,
Just had to write and congratulate you on achieving the status of 'professional writer.' It is a great feeling and the first one is always the big one to savor.
I am also a professional free lance writer and find that every time I see my work in print...and am paid for it I am thrilled! What a joy it is to be reimbursed for what you love to do anyway. Writing is a rush!
I have been free-lancing for years. A couple of years ago I completed a 500 page autobiography and am querying publishers or may self-publish.
I will check out what you wrote...and keep the words flowing..you have much to contribute.

I read your piece..and think you did a good job..congratulations! Wishing you continued success in your writing goals.
Might want to chat more about what you are doing sometime...maybe we can set up a separate writer's support network or something. Who knows. In the meantime...just keep on keeping on.

Great article! And yes, you are right, it is a really wonderful feeling when you sell that first article! It is just as much a thrill when you sell the next one, too. I have published several articles at AC now. I only wish I had signed up sooner. Congratulations!

Congratulations on selling the first piece. It can become quite addicting knowing people want to pay money for your work. I enjoyed reading it. You got a knack for writing to write it so fast. Congratulations!
