Recycled Toliet Paper...

I know it is not exactly as it sounds but just the thought of recycled toliet paper is kind of sickening to me. The thought of wiping my rear with paper that someone else has used is just gross. I just can't get my mind to understand it was not toliet paper to begin with. Do you use recycled toliet paper? Would you use it?

Ha! I buy that stuff. It is so much cheaper than the regular, I think I get somehing like a dozen rolls for the price of four. The other bonus is, despite what I tell my children, they always put way too much paper in the toilet and tend to clog it. I hate fielding that particular problem, and it doesn't seem to happen as often with this stuff. It is gross, I know. I just try not to think about it.

my one daughter uses way too much paper as well. and boy but that stuff is not very cheap anymore. She is *supposed* to not put it in the commode. We are not on the public system and have a rule to put all the paper products into the trash receptacle instead - but she tends to get a wad clogged now and again by not following the rule and using entirely too much paper. I think she must day dream as she rolls it again and again around her hand. I have in the past when experiencing a shortage - cut up soft cotton shirts that were stained or whathaveyou. those squares were the best "toilet paper" soft, thick, absorbant. one square did the trick. thank goodness nobody flushed those down. I suppose I could have washed them for reuse - but somehow could not bring myself to. not sure why, I never had a problem washing cloth diapers.

It would be so much cheaper and I am always wanting to save more money but I just can't bring myself to do this. Lucky for me mine didn't use too much to clog up the toliet. Although the youngest thinks she needs to put dirty clothes in there to be washed.. don't ask because I don't know lmao!

It's made from paper, not old toilet paper, so I don't have a problem with it. Actually I could really gross you out lol, we use cloth diapers (some of them were used by other babies first), cloth wipes on him, and I use cloth menstrual pads (I bought those new) :)

now there is a disgusting thought! I tend to agree that it is made from other papers. What is really a gross thought is the water treatment facility - that water that gets pumped out of there and into millions of homes IS recycled toilet water. oh *P* UKE!

I really think just the name of it would get me! Recycled toilet paper, bah! I understand it's not really as gross as it sounds but still! So no, I wouldn't use it.

I acually never have but is the toilet paper acually made out of old oilet paper or is it made out of paper products that were recycled and then made into toilet paper? I dont acually know of anyone that saves their used toilet paper to take it to the recycleing bins, or if anyone would do that. I may be wrong there may certainly be people who do do that i dunno. But if it were acually made out of ole toilet paper i would say no i would never use it but if it were just made out of recycled paper products then i might depends.

No, I am sure it is just old papers like newspapers and such. That would be a real stinky mess if people actually saved their used toliet paper and put it out for recycling... yuck!
