At some point I would hope that we would all receive such a message to our email accounts, but perhaps you are new and have not, what this message is an what you should receive to your email account when someone requests to be your friend, unsure about you, but I rarely get these, but always have new friend requests. I am assuming they are lost in my other email requests that I have on. So do you get these requests?? or perhaps you get too many??

It is a 'hit and miss' when I get friendship request email notifications. I have four friends pending, yet I got one email notification, normally I don't get them, they are very sporadic! I do get a lot of requests once I log in friends (4) for example.

I get one of these for every 25 friend requests, and find it so funny when I get one, just was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this, glad to know I am not the only one. Thanks for responding, it is always appreciated.

Hello,texasclassygal,although i may have received friends requests everyday ,i have never had any notifications in my email account. I think it is a glitch,not only friend request notification,I think i have not received discussions notifictions from some members even i turned on the notify button of them,and i have never replied to their new discussions for this reasons.

I have written to myLot repeatedly about not getting email notifications, they always saying they are working on it, but I find it so odd when I get these friends requests, they come so rarely and usually after I have had 25 requests on myLot alone. Thanks responding Easy, it is always appreciated.

I think the notification is new, as of this weekend sometime, as one of my other friends posted about it as well. I never have gotten a notification. I just get the little number in red up by the tab that says friends. I do get frequent new friends requests, but as I said, I have never gotten a notification for friends requests before. I am looking forward to them.

I don't think this feature is new, they have had it since I have been here, which is over 6 months now, but I think they rarely send them out that when they do they shock us all. Thanks for responding, it is always appreciated.

i have never had a new friends request through e.mail. I have dealt with 4 of mine today but all were on my friends tab. I tend to get a lot, but as i say in other posts i have to turn most down

I haven't noticed getting any of these in email. I usually notice I have a friend request when I'm in mylots and see a number by "friends" at the top of my profile page.

I find the friend request alert in myLot is currently quite efficient. I do not need to receive any email notification that there is a friend's request. However, I would appreciate an email notification if my friend's request was approved. Currently, if I have requested friendship, I would periodically check if my request has been approved so that I can set email notification on.

I think most of us here are the same way, we take care of our friend's request via being on the site, when they send it email, we have usually taken care of it already. Thanks for responding, it is always appreciated.

Well you can link to it and accept it that way or you can go to myLot and go to your friends inbox and accept it that way. Thanks for responding, it is always appreciated.

I almost never have received notification to my email address for a friend request. Usually I just see them on My Lot. Maybe My Lot admin are going to fix this too.

I think this is a 'glitch' in the system - sometimes I get them and sometimes I don't. I pretty much just keep an eye open for the link at the top of dicussion pages 'friends' if there's a number next to it then I know I have a new friend request.

well i never get such a request in my mail account. but i can see the friends () option and if there are any pending requests, i usually see it on the top. its ok with me since my mail box is usually so filled that probably the requests might get lost.

All the requests for making friends are indicted when you log in to myLot. They do not normally go to e-mail. And at myLot there is a possibility of your approval or decling the request.
If you get too many requests, it is difficult to choose. The question is this: how many friends can you have and justify having those many.

I seem to get one or two every couple weeks, i have so many friends now, that lately its been hard to keep up here. It seems alot of the requests are new people trying to add friends, i usually add all the friends requests i get.

Yeah I get alot of friend requests everyday, when I look at the profiles they are never responding to my discussions or in turn I have not responded to theirs, which I find odd that they are requesting my friendship, there are 94,002 other people to ask.
