do you have braces when you were a kid?

I had braces when I was in high school also. And just like you, I didn't wear my retainer so they're a little more crooked than they were when I got the braces taken off a few years ago.

I had braces forever as a kid! I had braces put on my two front teeth when I five years old! FIVE! I had those on for about 2 1/2 years. Then when the rest of my adult teeth came in I had to put them on the rest of my teeth. Two years later, I moved from California to Colorado where I had to find a new dentist. The new guy said my old dentist put them on wrong so he had to redo them! I had them on for an additional three years! I was a teenager by the time they got off. Argh! I hate braces. But hey, at least my teeth are nice and straight now. Yay! Straight teeth are great.
