What's the difference between Transformers and Beast Transformers?

Gud day everybody... I have watched the theatrical trailer and screen teaser of the movie THE TRANSFORMERS... and I wonder what's the difference of THE TRANSFORMERS and Beast Transformers? Beast Transformers - i watched this tv series before in TV and i wonder a lot about its characters?What do you think?

honestly i really like beast wars on that time...after that the new season they change the name to beast machine (hope i type correct) it become more complicated... but the ending is so nice..

Transformers and Beast Wars Transformers are the same thing. Beast Wars takes us back into the past and shows how the transformers arrived on Earth and how they adjusted and lived here.
The normal transformers depict out time, where after many millions of years on earth the robots have adjusted and are living among people

The show was called beast wars right? I'm not sure completely, but the names of the characters were all names of the robot/car/plane ones from the original series so I guess they were the same people? I think the reason they turn into cars on earth is to blend in so on a planet with only animals and trees animals would make more sense.
