i saw an accident the other day and it is still disturbing me a lot

when we were driving, i just happened to turn around and there 2 people were lying head down in a pool of blood. they were driving a 2 wheeler and they had dashed against the standing truck,the death was instant. my mind strated thinking of how their families muct be reacting and the hospital proceedures etc. they were young men, they met with death because of sheer carelessness. if they had their helmets on, this could be avoided, dont u think so? have u seen any accidents lke these

I have not seen something so tragic but it is quite frightening. Its best to talk with someone about it, maybe a councellor. I know it plays tricks in your mind and its always there in the back of your mind. How horrible for you.

I have seen accidents even worse than what you have just explained. I do not wish to see such urgly things but that is nature for you things happen every second,minute and every hour it may be good or bad and no body prays to see such things face to face but it happens by chance. So my friend try to come off it.

I agree with you they should have had their helmets on. but young people seem to think it can't happen to me. They think that they are invincible. They are such daredevils. I’m very sorry that you had to see the accident. It must have been a horrible experience. You can’t help but think about their families and what they must be going through. I know that I would.

I'm glad you have some kind of outlet to vent the images that you saw. If you have a good, close friend, don't hesitate to enlist their help in working through it. Yes, wearing helmets do save lives in bad accidents, but then again, people who wear them get in more accidents. Helmets restrict vision and increase fatigue.

Oh geez.. I wouldn't like to go into it has it's sad alone, without bringing up what could of been done. It's happened and I respect there deaths so enough said. :) I've seen things similar and other types, not exactly the same though. ~Joey
