sore throats more than 5x a year can lead to rheumatic fever

I have learned in my college course which is Nursing specifically in the subject Medical Surgical Nursing that sore throats is a predisposing factor of rheumatic fever. And rheumatic fever can lead to rheumatic heart disease. I'm kinda scared because for the past years, I had sore throats around 4 to 5 times in a year. Hopefully it did not lead to that.
