Paris Hilton: I'm SICK of that Name!!!

Well of course everyone has heard more all the news about Paris, probably more than an ear full. Definitely more than I can stand. She was supposed to be in jail for doing wrong DUI and then she was wrongly released, then brought back to jail to serve her full 45 day sentence which is what I believe it was, well now she's out again. She only served 23 days just shy of 50% of her sentence. This isn't teaching her anything. Just because people are celebrities and are famous world wide or whatever doesn't make it right for them to get out of things of this nature. Weither you are an ordinary person or a "Star" everyone should be punished equally. What do you think about all of this? I say she should have been forced to ride out the full jail time.

Most people are not kept for their full jail time for a number of reasons, including over-crowded jails. She was kept longer than most and I agree that the judge made an example of her. I'm sick of hearing it too, but maybe there are young girls out there who look up to her and need to see that even she, princess that she is, had to pay for the wrongful act that she did. I hope everyone learns a lesson from this, but since I have no interest in her at this point, I will gladly turn off the television to do something else with my time.

paris hilton is out, and i hope we don't hear anything about her for a long time. we need the peace, and i 'm sure she does too. its a really apt title, the girl who's famous for being famous right? i just hope that the 'change' that she's been talking about has happened for real. wont do anybody any harm...

I really don't care for Paris, but from everything I read she did serve more than a lot of regular people. My understanding is they normally let people out of jail in less time for the same offense because of overcrowding. I think there was some kind of study done that shows most people spend 10% of their sentence in jail so she should of being out in 4.5 days not 23. I am sure it was a sobering wake up call for her. I guess only time will tell.

i completely agree with you. Not only am i sick as all hell about heari.ng about Paris Hilton, but i think they let her off WAY too easy. She isn't going to learn anything by beinggiven the star treatment, even when it comes to jail time. She didn't serve her full sentance. You KNOW that when she was in jail, she got treated like a little princess. You KNOW shegot special privilages. Just because she is a celebrity doesn't mean she should be treated better than anyone else.

i certainly think so. I have been ticked about the whole thing since the beginning. She should have had to do the whole sentence like everyone else. if i had my way,I would have sent her to marine boot camp and let those female marine drill instructors get ahold of her.I heard they were worse than the male drill instructors.

Hey ChrisRock619. I definately have to agree. I am so tired of listening to this spoiled 'my daddy owns hotels' whining b!tch that seems to think she is entitled to some special kind of treatment. She chose to drive drunk so she should sit in jail per her sentence for 45 days. this is a touchy subject since my brother is also sitting in jail for a similar charge. You see he will get out early however not because daddy owns hotels but because he is working 8 days off of his 30 day sentence while he is in jail. I think that the rules should apply to everyone and be enforced the same. have a nice day=)

I think it is like Al Gore said one time. The boundary between news and entertainment has been blurred and the news organizations actually just concentrate on entertaining rather that informing us. There are a lot of serious issues out there but they just reporting on this totally un serious issue. This is just some rich bad kid who went to jail for breaking the law. I wonder what makes it so important.

will if you check the laws about over crowded jails, you will see that anyone that goes to jailwith good behavior only spends half the time.. i have seen where people were arested and sentenced to 3 yrs and jail, get out in a 1 1/2 yrs for good behavior.. so she did her time, i dont care for her but going by what the laws says.. i have seen people get puled over for drunk driving and no liciense and just get a slap on the wrist, go figure..

yeah i agree, i mean like, people should be punished equally accordingly to whatever crime we have done. All i can say is that, Paris is really a "Spoiled Brat". She have to stay in jail for how may days like the other people spending to, with the same crime she did. They should not look up on the position of the criminal.. They should look up to the crime!

I totally agree with you. The justice system is unfair, they play favoritism. I'm tried of hearing about Paris. Soon we will be hearing that she broke her probation again.

I'm sick of hearing her name, too and have been for a long time. I'm glad she at least served some time. I don't even consider her a celebrity. She has just used her money and bad behavior to draw attention to herself. She isn't even pretty. The tabloids, newspapers and tv entertainment news programs should quit covering her self-centered antics and stop pushing her on us.
