How does paid to post site and paid to read emails wiork?

Paid to Read Emails - The picture is enticing people to join ad earn by ding e-mails

I signed up for clikforcents and another paid to read e-mail site but apart from the welcome e-mail, I never get any new mails from them again. When I go to their site, I don't know waht to do there./Sorry if I sound dumb, but I am really quite confused. Help will be very appreciated. Thanks!
