I did not get to see it but read about how a news reader simply refused to read about Paris Hilton ews when there were other pressing issues. She even barrowed her fellow read's lighter to burn the news and then finaly shredded the whole thing! What do you think? was she right or wrong or brave? i felt she was incredibly brave! i mean who wants to know if Paris went to jail or came out when there so much else happening...do post your opinions thank you:)

That actually happened here in the US on NBC News or CNN. I think it was great. Those channels aren't entertainment news the are world news channels. What happens to Paris Hilton should be on Access Hollywood or Entertainment Tonight. Not CNN.

I think that was great and yes brave that someone was prepaired to stand up and refuse to do that even at the risk of being sacked.

Hi AnoChaudhary, I think that she did great. Our press seem to spend way to much time on stories that dont effect us. I dont even watch the news any more because when I hear stories of pasis hilton and others, I think that it must have been a real boreing day in the newsroom. I'm glad that someone had the guts to make a stand, I just wish that they could see that its not just paris hilton, These stories that are just there to make people feel good, Stories on things that happen every day. Okay I threw out my two cents. Take care, Terry

I got that link sent to me at myspace. It was the funniest thing I had seen all day. I loved it. I think if you go to www.msnbc.com you can search for it there. That is the station it was from anyway. Her producers kept giving her the paper to read and she refused to read it cause it was not real news and there were more important stories that they could have lead with.

i think she is brave enough to do that because the whole world has nothing doto with paris hilton being jail and getting out of jail beacuse its just a waste of time. what really matter right now is that people should focuse on world peace.

That is her right! As the final consumer of entertainment news, she certainly got the right to read or not to read anything that has to do with Paris. She could be just expressing an opinion about her and her many scandalous shenanigans. Could be brave. But then Paris Hilton is not a dictator who could command her harm anyway.

hm another side i like it and i agree Paris Hilton is no dictator but sometimes its so bugging to keep hearing about her for trival reasons...
