I want to wish you a happy Fourth of July--I will be a little scarce around the lot for a few days, and I wish you the best. Yesterday, hubby and I had some financial matters to take care of, then we picked up the grandkids, went out of town, and went bowling. It is a shame that our bowling alley basically shuts down in the summer locally. After that much activity, when I am normally sedentary, I went to bed early. Today, I will be spending the day at my part time job, twelve hours to be exact. I will help with day crafts, supervise lunches, and a few chores, go buy fireworks with clients and attend a barbecue and fireworks launching on our campus. After that, I will head over to the local park and try to find my son and grandkids for a look at the city fireworks. Actually, I can see them from anywhere in town. It is just nice to be with family. Somehow, by being such an accommodating person, I will be working the next six days, sometimes part days, sometimes long shifts, so I am not really gone from here, I just am busy this week. To all who celebrate Independence Day with me, greetings, tell me about your plans, to others, I wish you wonderful days, tell me what this week is like for you.

Thank you for the best wishes for 4th of July, even if I don't celebrate it. I gather it is a public holiday. I hope the weather is good for all your outdoor activties. The weather here is disgraceful today, & still continuing tonight with a big storm. I may have to log off. When you write about July 4th, it reminds me a lot of that movie called Independance Day. I loved that movie, got really sucked into it.

My family will spend today with our neighbors having an old fashioned July 4th. I will make my infamous blackberry cobbler and homemade icecream. I will also ask for a moment to remember our wounded soldiers that are fighting to regain a sense of self. Our grandkids all live in our beloved Oregon and we will see them all next week until the end of July. Happy 4th everyone and remember why we celebrate.

I have missed you. I hope you are having a wonderful holiday with your family. I can hear fireworks going off everywhere around here. My poor puppy is a nervious wreck. He keeps jumping and barking and his little ears have been at attention for about two hours now.

Happy fourth of July, gerty. We don't celebrate it here. Our independence day falls on June 12. I sure am going to miss you this week. But go ahead and do your stuff. You might notice I'm not very visible nowadays. I'm not really busy with my real life. Just feeling a little burned out here. I'm currently with another forum. It was headed by fellow mylotters too. Its not yet formally launched and the head is planning to make it like a get paid forum too. You might be interested to join our group. I'm very sure you will be familiar with the members there. PM me if you're interested.
