One day smart Alex asked Sam: "Why are you wearing odd socks?"
Sam replied: "Oh!! they are not odd.... I have got a pair exactly like them at home"
The whole class laugh s but ...
The fact is that he never really had any other pair but it was said just to shut him up......
THIS IS A PHENOMENA NOTED BY MANY BUT RESEARCHED BY A VERY FEW......
There are underware drawers all over the world of singled socks. God knows where there mates and partners have gone.
I RECENTLY CAME ACROSS SOMTHING CALLED AS "A SOCKS HEAVEN"
yes this is where they might have gone....
spirit singles socks away in droves and leave their widowers to cry and bewildered owners gathering plastic bagfulls of residuals in the vein hope that someday they might return to their beloved...
I believe that many of us have somday or the other faced a challenging struggle to pair them up..
I have faced this epidemic quite a lot what about you????

It is a challenge for me to pair my socks before and after each laundry.
You are right, there are several socks alone these days.
Personally, I think because some sock owners do not do the laundry personally. They ask someone to do it. After each laundry, they also do not have time to find the pairs. Until such time they regret to loose one sock.
My father and sister have this heaven of sock. Hehehe they were not personally doing laundries and were not able to find time to find each pair. I know this is sad.
