I prefer both these gadgets.They both have their own distinct functions and helpfulness.Mobiles are handy and much much sleeker than any sizes of modern laptops/palmtops.
I can't use mobile phones for my office job nevertheless.So they both are useful in their own functional way.

Both have their pros n corns
you can't substitute one for the other
mobile gives you a lot more freedom but processing power is limited and vice versa
Technology has to go too long to match them.
