How do you deal with your pets death?

Our family cat as a kid was Tang too! He was 20 when he past away. We have three cats right now that were strays. They are a part of our family and if we were to lose one it would be like a family member dying. When Tang past, my Oma kept his ashes in an urn on a mantle with his picture. He was truely a member of our family and there was a hole that no other cat could replace. Though we have lots of love to give new kittens that come into our lifes we will never forget the joy our other cats that have gone have given us. Those memories will stay in our heart and we were lucky to have them when we did. Vicki
