Do you like your toast done on one side or on both? :P

I've just been listening to Sting's Englishman in New York and wondered how can anyone get the toast done only on one side and why toast done on one side is superior to the normal one, done on both sides :) How about you? Which one do you prefer and why? :)

Hi there. I love eating toast with jam, and I prefer to have both sides of my toast brown and not burnt looking... I usually have toast if Im feeling a little hungry in the afternoons or late mornings...

I don't eat toast very often, but when I do, I like it done on both sides. I don't see how a type of toast can be superior to another...

I'm not really that fond of toast, but it depends on what I want. With garlic toast, I really only want it toasted on one side. With regular toast, both sides, then butter.

I like it kind of burnt on both sides. not so burnt though, just a tiny bit. I normally have butter, or no butter and chicken / turkey slices. Sometime I even have chicken tikka masala on toast. Then on rare occasions I have toast with egg.
