Have you ever been in an accident?

I had a bicycle accident when I was in grade school. It was really fast going down a steep hill we even overtook a passenger jeep going down. The bottom was full of big rocks which caught the front wheel and launch the bicycle and me spinning in the air and rolling on the ground. I had stitches on my forehead, knees and lost my front teeth. Lessons, well aside from slowing downhill, avoiding rocks and being very careful, I guess the best lesson I learned is that when someone had an accident and is recovering from it the best thing he needs is a friend with words of encouragement. Someone to tell him that "hey I had an accident too, look it deformed my arm, but it never stopped me from doing what I love to do, just be more careful next time."
