Cans or bottles

I just responded to a discussion about glass cups or plastic cups. Well, that made me think about what my husband always complains about. He likes the glass bottles of beer over beer cans because he says he can taste the metal from the cans. Does anyone agree with this or it really doesn't matter what you drink as long as your drinking beer.

Bottles of course. First of all yes, because of the taste, but secondly because a bottle has to be opened (unscrewed) which keeps the lip clean. If you are not drinking from a cup then you have to clean the rim of a can.

Usually I would prefer the bottles, they do keep the drink colder, and in the odd occasion I have tasted the metal from the can..

I refuse point blank to get bottles because of the hygiene connected to where bottles are stored, I once read a story that rats pee over bottles which are left outside and that put me off straight away. I always prefer the taste of the liquid out of a can than a bottle and besides cans are easier to recycle and to break down than bottles, bottles can easily smash and the glass can be dangerous if not binned properly, so deffo thumbs up for cans for me on this one.

Your the first to say cans. For me it doesn't matter if it's cans or bottles. Cans are lighter and doesn't take up more space in the trash.

I prefer to get the bottles. It does taste better than the cans, but when we are out somewhere, like the campground, we buy the cans. They are easier to dispose of.

Glass bottles of course. Glass is very less reactive with any such substances. So there is no such chance of smell.
