do you open many windows to do many things at the same time?

LOL, i do this and while reading a post, i was also uploading a picture, and while doing it, i opened another to post a new topic. and when it all appears, things went crazy. i have attached a photo which i have to attached to another interest. and it mixed up. i cant do anything since i have submitted it already.

yes i know, thanks for that. but i needed to specially for my work, i need to open excel and a lot of workbooks with different filenames. :-)

I open 3 windows, 2 for mylot and 1 for other sites. This enables me to open the site pages fast and do quick work.

simple and interesting discussion larskie!!.I am very glad to answer your discussion as my 1000th post.Well i too open tabs to do many things at the same time in the morning becoz having more speed net connection than afternoons.Now am reading my mylot freinds notifications,reading and replying commnets to my blogposts,posting new responese , searching for fresh discussions and rading stats of my blog.Hey i can say am a muliti task and i can swtich from one to another fastly..Smiles

yes..i do that many times and always because it really helps me a lot to do my job.i open excel sheet,outlook express,mylot,yahoo,friendster and other website just for fun.

Hi larskie23! :) I am, too! Usually, I open around 5 to 8 windows! LOL And most of the time, most are from myLot websites. *hehe*
I had also encountered adding photo to my discussion, while opening a window replying to one of my friend's discussion. And then hollah! The picture that I was supposed to post in my discussion was posted to my comment. (And there's the added feature that you can only add image to your comments once you reached your 500th post.) I had not yet reached my 500th post but I was already able to add image to my post because of opening a lot of windows. *hehe*

I try sometime opening more than one window. It helps me only when the net speed is good one. If the net speed is slow, opening more than one windows does not help much.

LOL,that's what happen when we multi-task a lot, but we can help it right? I do the same thing too, I think I just cannot sit here and wait, so I open up several windows too..and yes,sometimes things get carzy.
I just hope I can have explorer 7 so it would be easier. :)

that happens to me too, when i open too many windows, then my pc cant handle it anymore and then it hanged. good thing its not really work, but just surfing the net. :-)

I try to avoid opening many windows at the same time because sometimes when i do that the internet connection slow down and sometimes it just shutdown.

when internet connection is too slow, it usually happens, sometimes, my computer hanged because our server here at office is too slow. :-(

ya! i do open up many windows at the same time to do lot of things while i'm online. But for mylot i just open one window, i dont normally open up many windows for the same site, because things might get pretty mixed up. right now i've opened 8 windows (which is pretty less for my standards) but not more than one instance of a particualr website.

Yes,I do this,too.I usually open open my Email when I write my novels,and sometimes I will open the music player,maybe doing this can give me some new ideas to my novels.I am not a writer,and I didn't earn money by writting novels,I just like to do this:)

Right now I have 5 mylot windows open in Firefox. I go from one to the other. While one is busy, I'm typing on the next. It's much faster.

I do open many windows to do many works at the same time. But only while online. offline, I concentrate on one subject at a time, or more but (I can't say why) it irritates me to see the taskbar full of windows. Maybe that's why I do it online only, as it offers me many tabs in a single window, making it neat and ordered. Perhaps I am on the peak of mania ;)
Once I posted to a discussion, and uploaded a pic somewhere else, and the pic got posted with my reply too!

I do too. I write, so sometimes I will have my current story pulled up and research and notes for the story and then any Internet stuff I'm doing as well. I do that a lot when I'm on MyLot and if I'm using Gmail chat. LOL...the whole bottom of my screen will be full of the window boxes.:)
