Gentlemen prefer blondes

I don't know if you know this but Marilyn Monroe wasn't a natural blonde? She DYED her hair blonde. I am a brunette. Although I was born blonde, my hair got darker as I grew up. I've learned that men don't necessarily have a type. If a man finds a woman attractive, it doesn't matter what hair color she has. Some men may prefer blondes, but it doesn't mean that they won't be attracted to brunettes as well.

Color your hair honey! I do. I was a blonde all my life until just recently. It started gradually turning brown. I color my hair, and I love it. It gets lighter all the time. I tried to go dark brunett, but neither I nor anyone else cared for it. Everyone likes me as a blonde as well. I bet you want to do it anyway so just color your hair.

Been blonde, the bleach turned me into a blithering idiot. I was quite grateful when my red hair grew back out! Redheads have waaaaay more fun than blondes. Bet.

Hi,laridbz! As an Asian girl,I like girl with black hair.But my hair isn't black enough,my hair is natural light brown.So that many people around me have asked me this question:Have you ever dye your hair?(*shock+faint*) If my hair is natural blonde,well,it must be very rare in my country.

I don't really want to say yes but it seems in general they do. A lot of men like it because it was a rarity but not so much anymore. A lot of women are now dying their hair.

There is not such a thing that gentleman like blonde more... It's highly depend on where you are and which kind of people you normally close to. West ppl might prefer blonde but Asian prefer light color.. haha

omg you can't be serious.... it's not the hair color, it's how you look in it, truthfully, every natural blonde (excluding one or 2) look good with it, but their dumber than a doornail, that said, sometimes, it's just a show, and sometimes they really are smart, it's just this stereotype that people hear from the time they were knee high to a grasshopper, and they conform to it, having *Blonde Moments* and such. far as i'm concerned, do what you want, what ever color you look best with, that's the one you should go with, otherwise there's not much i or anyone can say. Except for preference that is....

I do have a soft spot for blondes and I am attracted to them. I am not sure why. Perhaps their personality is less gloomy than those from other women. Blondes always seem to be ready to smile. They seem to live to have fun... which is something I highly approve off. Perhaps... they did earn their nick name of "dumb blonde" because they don't take life seriously. I was with a blonde for 14 years... and while she was not the smartest person in the world... she was not anymore dumb than any other woman. She knew what she wanted and made sure she got it. I think that it is not men who have accused blondes to be dumb. But other women who were jealous of blondes having all the fun.

To me they are just women. Hair color can be dyed, and there are sexy people who are not blonde. I personally think blonde hair is better on women than men, I don't know why.

I think everyone has their own taste that appeals to them. I do not feel blondes have it better or are more preffered. I am brunette/redhead. Depends on the sun and how much time I spend in it. My sisters all have dark brown and black hair, and we never had any hint of anyone preferring blondes. Maybe it was a sexist thing and using hari as the scapegoat? I do not know. I think everyone can be preffered by someone from their personality not their hair. I have highlighted my hair so light it came out with streaks of blondes. BUt I was still the same person and got the same responses. I think the person makes the hair not the other way around.

Ridiculous. I'm a brunette, and I come from a country where everyone is naturally raven-haired. Guys like good-looking girls period. It doesn't matter what hair color you have.

personally im a brunette, i dont think blondes or dumb i just think some blondes ( not all) play on it to get what they want which is why over the years people started to say they were dumb. We are all the same no matter what couler our hair is at the end of the day!

I went blond once and didnt have any more fun that when I am a auburn haired person. People used to go blond for it was a fad or they spent so much time at the beach their hiar got bleach out by the sun. Just do your hair they way you feel comfortable with. Its not how people see you but how you look at yourself that counts.

No. I am a natural blonde but I've always hated it (and by natural blonde i mean close to platinum naturally) and I've been dying it for the past 12 years all sorts of colors. Personally I'm always attracted to dark haired dark eyed guys...and not the blonde hair blue eye cliche. I also find girls to be prettier when they have darker hair too. I think everyone has a preference and then sometimes they have no preference. If you liked yourself with lighter hair and you want to spend the time and money to do it again, go for it. Don't do it because other people said to.

I am very blonde by nature. This should be a very interesting thread. I don't know about guys prefering blondes but I do know they prefer to pick on us. I have tried to darken my hair to no avail. It usually lasts a couple of days before my blonde roots begin shining thru. Getting some grays now so maybe i'll be looked at as wiser??
