Do you buy Anime DVDs?

I have been and otaku for a very long time, i have see a lot of diferent animes, and i have a lot on my hard driv,e but sometimes i see and anime on DVD and i fell like i want to buy it but later i think that i can download it so i canot decied, i have some animes buyed already like evangelion buth ther are many other i would like to have but i cannot affort them, do you have this same problem? do you buy often or prefer to download it? share yous feelings

yup! my brother has a collection of it! also my sister! a compiation of ouran highschool host club, fruits' basket and my brothers got dragoball z, akazukin chacha, naruto, one piece.. and im not sure what i missed.. but were fans!.. c:.. they're already working, that's why they have the budget for it!.. i wish i have.. hehehehe

For the majority of the time I download it. I have some Anime on dvd, NOIR complete box set, four or so Gantz dvd's, Akira, Cowboy Bebop Knockin On Heaven's Door, and some other stuff. If the dvd's were cheaper I would probably buy more of them. It's more a matter of not having the money to buy then rather than not wanting to buy them :P.

yeah. I buy anime dvds. I don't download from the net coz we're only on dial-up. ^__^;; and sometimes I order from a friend. I usually buy/order movies/ovas. the only series I have is prince of tennis. ^__^

i use to buy anime DVD'd for stuff like Pokemon, zoids, DBZ and digimon (hey! i was a kid ... and a seruius otaku!). but when i found the wonders of the internet and downloading, i figured why waste money when you can download stuff for free? besides if your hard drive gets too full, you can always save them in CD/DVD-R. also, i make it a point to download realvideo files as they are usually smaller and with greater quality than .avis.
sometimes though, i just can't stop from buying anime DVD'd
