What would your hair look like if you didn't comb it for a few days?

Last night I tried out a new conditioner. And, even though it smelled amazing (Ocean Breezes), the result was not so good. It made my hair swell out. That's what I get for going cheap with beauty. So, today my hair is sticking out everywhere and I can't find my hair brush! So, you can just imagine what my hair looks like. My spouse hasn't complained yet. (He's too sweet to do that and he knows better.) For now, I'm just keeping my hair tied back in a pony tail until I can locate my hair brush. This would be considered the mother of all bad hair days. So, what would your hair look like if you tried out a new beauty product and it didn't work and then couldn't find your hair brush or comb? Would your hair stick out in all directions or be limp and unmanageable? Have you ever lost your hair brush and not been able to comb your hair for days?

How terrible, too bad it happened to you. Nwei, I haven't experienced not combing my hair for few days. The latest would be half a day (that's when im asleep) hahaha! Thank God we have tone of brushes here (literally!) So we woun't be messing around once we've lost/misplaced our brush. Try doing that too. And with the conditioner, try to throw that away, or atleast stay away from thatbad-causing-conditioner! take care!! ~_^

Thank you for both suggestions! Good advice. Who knew conditioner could do so much damage to hair.

LOL I have been there!!! My hair has a mind of its own all the time. I don't dare use anything that says it will give body or volume I don't need more of that lol. I have really thick hair that is naturally curly/wavy. I have enough hair for 2-3 people. I use a lot of antifriz serums for my wildest days. Yes I have lost my brush before and it is a chore to brush through my hair after a few days neglect. I am also choosy about what kind of brush I use in my hair the results of a bad brush can be hairraising literally.

Oh my, my hair looks horrid if I go one day without combing/brushing it! I have a short hair style and after a night on a pillow, it tends to stand up all over my head. I must wash and style it each morning. I wouldn't be seen in public if I couldn't brush my hair! I suppose I could wet it and try to place it with my fingers, but without some volumizing mousse and a blow-dryer..it would be flat and ugly!

If I don't comb my hair for a few days it just looks messy. I have one of those shaggy hair styles and it will just become dirty and messy if I don't comb. Now if I go as far as to not shower or wash my hair for a few days, then it would certainly become oily and smelly after a few days. Of course having a shaggy hairstyle, I really don't need to comb my hair in the morning, all I simply do is wet it and then just blow dry the thing and it automatically becomes shaggy.

My hair is really long, and easily tangles. It would quickly become a mass of knots, and I'd have to just cut my hair off.

When I had my hair chin length, I never brushed it. lol It's naturally really straight. I would just get out of the shower, towel dry it, and go. It dried so perfect if I didn't use a brush or comb or anything. It turned under at the ends just like it was supposed to. If I brushed it, it turned out in some places, no matter how hard I tried to brush it under. I would go weeks without brushing it, since the only time I ever brushed it was if I was wearing it in pigtails (It was too short for a ponytail). Now my hair is about six inches past my shoulders and has been permed. It has to be brushed (or combed if I'm leaving it curly) everyday, or it gets tangled and has really weird waves.

No I've never lost my brush. But if I didn't brush my hair for a few days it would be bad! lol. It would be all over the place and really wild looking.

What an interesting scenario. Hmmmm if I didn't comb my hair for a few days I would look like a bushy, curly headed Amazon woman. I have a natural wave to my hair and when I don't comb it the curls become matted up...and well...bushy! There is also more static cling and that adds to the bushiness...so it would not be a good scene. Funny images though...hearing about your situation, then adding mine. Quick, where did we put those brushes!lol

That's quite a scenario to deal with. In my case, however, my hair is pretty stubborn. Even if I use bad hair products, the result is still the same: afro like. I don't comb my hair much because if I do, it'll go in all sorts of directions. For my hair, the best medicine is to not comb it so that it will go together in chunks. It will look like goldiluck's curls if I leave it alone for a few days. Oh and, I have never once lost my hairbrush since I always leave it at home. ^^

My hair would be all tangled up and look terrible if I didn't brush it for a few days. I have thick hair and it is to the middle of my back so it looks awful if it's not brushed all the time.

I have very long straight hair and it really looks basically the same if I do or don't brush it. lol. I wish I could find a conditioner that made my hair swell out. My hair is so limp. It would probably look better unbrushed, you know that tousled look. After a two days though I think I would start looking like a witch or something. (Some would argue I already do.. hehe)
