Yes, I'm from Europe and I eat with fork, spoon and knife, they're easy to use^_^. And I eat with my fingers too:P I think that eating things like parts of chicken or pizza with your own hands is absolutely right. It's too troublesome to eat it with a fork.

I m also an indian, and I use both of them while eating.. I don't like licking my fingers after I have finished my meal, that's why I use the fork with the spoon to clean out the curries left in my plate..

i'm from india and quite frankly i'm not a great fan of fork and spoon. But there are few dishes which are very convenient to eat with a fork and spoon like noodles...apart from that i use them only for official purposess. i cant even imagine eating a paper dosha with a fork...it simply is not made to eat like that, and for that matter chappati and most other indian dishes. So i say officially fork and spoon and unofficially our very own hands!

hands are created to eat with their help..spoons/and all other cutlery are attachments and we as indians have mastered the art of eating with our hands.and its the healthiest option..its messy to keep this cutlery clean and out of infections.but hands are our own self and we tend to keep them clean.so!apna haath jagannath"

I do eat using fork n spoon but i was criticized by some people when i worked abroad for using spoon... they use only fork and knife... For some dishes like fried fish, i prefer to use my fingers because, i think it taste better especially when fish is dipped in soy sauce using the fingers... There are also some type of food where in it is impossible to eat using fork and spoon, these are food that come in a shell like crab and lobster...

Hi there. Some people of my culture wont use them on certaint foods either... Not me or my family, we like to use untensils, because we dont like our fingers getting grotty and sticky... We can use chops sticks, forks and spoons, which we prefer anyway...

Hi, I do eat using both where ever they are needed. Still in cases where I have use my hands offcourse I go for that. It the comfortable method one adopts while eating. Another the mannerism one keeps in front of others while eating in group or with reputed people.

I always use a fork and spoon, but some foods require you to use your fingers. Pizza would be so messy with a fork, chips can not be eaten with a fork, hamburgers and hotdogs need to be picked up. So I guess I do eat with my hands and fingers a lot, lol. Do whatever is comfortable for you as long as you are the only one touching it for sanitary reasons!

I don't know how you can eat chapati with a fork and spoon - it would not taste as good and would be very difficult to cut with a knife.

Yes, here in North America, its considered rude and unsanitary to eat with your fingers. I also can use chopsticks if necessary

Yes, I use spoon and fork when eating especially outside (restaurant, fastfood or anywhere) though at home, if our dish is fish and tomato, I sometimes use hand as eating but not too often.
