Are women manipulative? / myLot

My doctor once told me that women are more manipulative than men. Do you think this is true? Are women more likely to say exactly what they mean or do they use tears and guilt to manipulate their spouse or children?

I think everybody is different, and it just depends on the person. I have heard of men fake-crying to make girls feel bad too, so I think it can go both ways. I am a woman, and personally, I have no control over whether or not I cry. I tend to cry kind of easily, but it's never on purpose, it just happens. If I get upset about something, I just honestly can't stop myself from crying, but I wouldn't do it to lay a guilt trip on someone.
