What's your favorite coffee?

I just love coffee, have been hooked on it for years. However, during some of my health crisis the last couple of years I was able to come off the caffiene, but still enjoy a nice, warm flavorful cup of coffee anytime of the day or night. I love to try new gourmet coffees and creamers. My favorite is a french vanilla cappucino, but I equally enjoy a plain cup of Folgers (my preferred brand) with a gourmet flavored creamer. What is your favorite brand of coffee, gourmet flavor, or do you prefer to go to Starbucks and get a specialty mixed just for you?

I drink coffee all day and it is Folgers, sweetened with Stevia (herbal sweetener) and I alternate between Coffeemate Fat Free French Vanilla and Hazelnut. I much prefer my own to Starbucks.

It has, to me, no aftertaste and is not a chemical. I used to get it at Nature's Pantry and then I found it in my grocery store (Krogers)in the health area and is comes in packets and liquid. The liquid is in a little bottle with an eye dropper and it tells you how many drops per fluid ounce. I have also turned two of my doctors on to it as they also wanted to get away from chemicals. Even the newest Splenda has chemicals and has not been on the market long enough to show if there are any long term effects.

I have never heard of Stevia either, so now you both have my curiosity up. I am going to see if I can find this product and give it a try. My hubby has me buy Splenda to sweeten his ice tea with. I too haven't heard of any long term studies being done. But we didn't want to use Nutrasweet or Equal. Thanks for sharing this information with all of us.

My absolute favorite is german coffee.I don't know for sure what they do different.....but it comes out tasting so much better.Since I'm living in the U.S. now....I reluctantly got used to the coffee here and I don't think there is that big of a difference in the name brand compared to the cheaper store brands. The one thing I started doing is buying coffee beans(instead of ground)and only grind enough to make one pot of coffee. I keep the rest of the beans in the freezer and it makes a big difference on fresh my coffe tastes. My favorite coffee beans are the Kroger 100% Colombian.....it makes a great cup of coffee.

I love Starbucks, and I love the Rasberry Mocha Frappicino. I cannot get enough of that one.

Our usual stand by is Folgers, with half the caffeine. I drink mine black. I will drink flavored coffee, cut with half decaf coffee, at home. My home coffee is my favorite of all. I will buy Folgers French Vanilla.

Folgers french vanilla sounds really good. I drank mine just black with nothing in it for about 20 some odd years then one day I started craving sugar and creamer in it, haven't wanted it just plain ever since.

Folger's is an excellent coffee. I like Starbucks, too. However, my favorite is Gevalia!

Hello applsofgld, I have gotten hooked on Gevalia Dark French Roast. It's a must first thing in the morning. I enjoy my coffee with International Delight Hazelnut creamer. I cannot handle Starbucks coffee. It has an awful after taste that makes me think twice before buying it. Coffee lattes are pretty good, but I rarely do those because I enjoy my coffee at home a lot better. Happy posting..

Let's not forget, I guess the number 1 thing that keeps me away from places like Starbucks, is the price. They are exspensive!

My favorite gourmet coffee is texas pecan sold at HEB. It's really a great blend with a nice flavor. If I am just having regular coffee I always choose folgers rich or bold. I also am a fan of the flavored creamers, don't know what I would do without them!

I think the best coffee is made at home. I use Folgers half the caffine. I put french vanilla fat free cream in the coffee. I have about two cups every day. I don't care for Starbucks.

You sound like the exact opposite from me! I love the flavored coffees with the plain creamer. I have the Folgers hazelnut, french vanilla, cinnamon, and chocolate coffees. We usually mix the chocolate with the other flavors. I add a couple scoops of chocolate grounds with the other flavor before brewing. I avoid Starbucks. I can't see spending that much for a cup of joe.

I too love coffee and drink it all day long just about. I don't like anything gourmet but just plain ole Maxwell House coffee or Folders when I can catch it on sale. I do like french vanilla cappucino though so I guess you could call that gourmet coffee but it has a different taste. Cream and a low calarie sweetner.... mmmmm good!

I used to be stuck on Folgers, but I actually have switched to Maxwell House after I received a sample of it and really enjoyed it. It's also a tad less expensive than Folgers. But either brand is great. Starbucks is good too, but it is so expensive for one cup.

I usually drink "Eight O'Clock" French Vanilla or Hazelnut flavoured coffee which is sold at Giant Foods. I quite like Starbucks coffee and often have one or two a week. The flavour I am into now is Pumpkin Spice Latte. I usually have Dolce De Le Leche when it is in season and or a vanilla latte. I love my coffee!
