Be it guys or girls, ladies or gentlemen, Everybody in their life has received gifts from their partners when in a relationship.. SO far, have u ever bought the right thing for your partner? Be it self-make gifts or expensive stuffs, wat u think your partner would like to have?? For me, i will choose to handmade my present to my partner because it represents my sincerity and each time i'm making the present/gift for her, i'll be smiling to myself too because handmade things are far more valuable and more cherishable as effort in 100% put in by me.. And it touches me when i see my partner crying from touches, when she knows that the gift is done by me ;) The feeling is just so sweet :)

wow! that's just so sweet! haha well, things that are personally made are always nice...but its not for me..i mean i don't usually give gifts that are personally made by me, for i am not artistic at all! hehehe the only thing that i can do myself is a letter! haha written in a nice stationery! and sealed with a kiss!!! now, yes, i have given my husband a gift many times and i think as long as its not a shirt or polo its good...hehe coz i am just fool enough not to get his right size for that! haha and so the usual gifts that i give him are perfumes and something that i know he needs at that particular time... i don't really into expensive gifts...after all...its the thought that counts the most! hehehe

I will only be doing small small gifts to them, just using simple materials.. haha =D IT's nothing fanciful but it's sweet enough.. lol =D The biggest i have ever done is using a small fish tank, with some self designed stuffs in it, making it glow in the dark too.. hehe BUt i dun think she appreciates it at that time, because she keeps it away.. haha =D hehehe ^_^I know what u can do with it.. GIve it to those adopted ple.. lol =D If not, use them as rags as whatever cloths for cleaning of the house.. hehe ^_^ U are not good in giving surprises?!?!?! I'm surprised to hear that!! lol =D SEe!! hehe

I'm not artistic as well, but at least u have got to try.. hehe ^_^ And it's also a way of telling, if the other party appreciates what u are doing and how much they love u too.. haha =D IF one does not really feel for u in a relationship, they will be giving bad comments about the thing, and wont be appreciating one's efforts nor thoughts.. haha =D lol =D DIn get the right size?? GIve it to me then!! hehe ^_^ I will definitely be eating more or losing more weight to fit into those shirts nicely.. hehe GOOD for u!!! U should give him a surprise once in a while too.. haha

haha...wellmaybe i will try one time...hehehe so in your case, what kind of things are you doing as a gift to your sweethearts? hahaha and do they really appreciate it? hehehe how i wish i can give those to you...haha so that it can be on use...coz some of them are just here in the closet w/out use for they are big for him...hehe and some are small on him...haha but when im telling him that i will just give those to others, he don't want to...oz according to him, that's my gift! huh! surprise him? haha im not good in giving surprises!

My husband enjoy video games and I think he's pleased with the gifts I give him. This year I think it will be much of the same. We make lists for each other and for his mom so that we are sure to get and give the right thing. It's a tradition that his mother had started with him, and that I was introduced to the first year I met him.

Sorry that i missed out on your comments.. hehe ^_^ So far so good, for me.. How are u getting on then? Well, no matter what, it's never nice to be rejecting gifts from others, for they wont know what we really need in the house.. haha =D SO it will be good to give some hints, occasionally.. haha =D

Hello kun2349, and how are you? Yes it does definitely keep things organized and also helps when it comes to getting gifts that will be used instead of will lie around all the time! I do not like receiving gifts that I have to say "oh I enjoyed it" but never use it... I don't like lying in that sense, nor do I really enjoy lying but will if need be. Please excuse me for going off subject a bit.

I think handmade present is very special because it seems like a more sincere something. If I wanna give anyone present, it would either be a handmade something too. And mix up with something that I buy. You are right; the feeling will definitely be sweet. I don't mind receiving a handmade card too; that's like super awesome.

Yeah, but a couple of months ago, there's a report on the papers or somewhere else, asking if they prefer having handmade gifts or readily bought ones.. MOst of them choose readily bought ones, because they only want the perfect gifts.. lol =D The reason, if handmade gifts are gonna look bad, or slight out of shape, the gift maker might as well dun do it at all Seems like not much ple do appreciate handmade gifts and they only care more about what they receive rather than the effort behind it.. At least, u are different, for u appreciate MAybe your wife should read this, and be making u one.. haha

i think the hest present is lighter. my boyfriend is addicted to lighters. and he collects many kinds of lighters. some of them are expensive and some of them are very beautiful. if i find a new kind of lighter, then i will buy it for him, then he will be very happy. but now he doesn't find a best one, so if i can find it for him, then he must be moved. and i decide to find it before Spring Festival. then i'll give him a surprise.

i like to ask my partner exactly what he wants. cos he's quite particular and there's no point getting a surprise if the surprise is not nice. I like surprises but then again guys seldom choose the right thing so lately we've just been very practical and just tell each other exactly what we want. I like making scrapbooks, so sometimes I do that too, but most times I try to get something he actually needs.

lol =D Surprise is meant to be untold, and regardless of he likes it not, at least u make an effort and he should appreciate it.. If given for him or maybe most guys, we tend to buy anything, as long as it makes our partners happy, and that's it.. haha =D Actually, he should have a very good idea about what he can buy for u.. haha =D

Well well, man are actually harder to please for not many of us, knows how to appreciate hand made gifts by gfs.. hehe ^_^ We might feel touched, but it's only for that instance and the feeling will fade away after some time.. hehe ^_^ Maybe u can get him something more pratical?? Things he will be using often and only suitable for u to give him?? Personal things like wallet, ties etc, whereby no other gals will dare to give him, knowing he's married ^_^

Hi, Kun! I think so far my hubby loves every gift that I have gotten for him. I guess it's because he sometimes hinted on what he wants or does not have, so, I always be an attentive wife, make a mental note about it. I will sometimes go through his stuffs and see what he needs, so, I know what he would like to have. I agree with you when you make or create a gift personally, you have put your every effort and love to make it as special as the person who will receive it. So, it will be very touching for the person to think that you have specially made that gift for him or her.

you know when it is time for me to gift my partner something what i do , i call my friends and ask them and then make decision what to gift him then i listen to everyones opinion and roam in the market and work a lot , i roam in the market for one month and just before one day of his birthday or any other day i will call him and ask him what you want because i don't want to buy something which is not useful to him , so better ask him and make him happy.

yup....and it is priceless thus they could not purchase it in any stores even during sales it is not available.. see how thrifty i am???lol.. well, if that the case i would gladly accept them all since it is free and i love to be with them anytime..lol.. That would not be a problem, a gift of wit, whip of real and sincere friendship and lot of humor would be fine to me... though, if one insist in giving me material things i like it comes to the hearts, and i like most gifts which i could also shares to others not just limited to myself.. mostly like a food as i would like to share it and anything that I taste, i feel and likes to shares it to my loved ones too.. it is my pleasure... or simply a food for thoughts would be fine too..
