Right now we have our own business. We do web design, web development and web hosting. You can view our business website http://www.dcgwebdesign.com Before we started out this business, I was employed for a long long time. I started out as a telemarketer, then became an ordinary secretary mostly doing clerical work. After several months, I was hired to become an executive secretary to a president in a big company. The same president promoted me to a managerial position in that same company. Eventually, my mother started her own restaurant business, and I managed the business for about 4 years, until we finally decided to start a business of our own. I have always enjoyed the work I was in, whatever it was. Work will never be easy every single day. There were days when I was in a lot of pressure, and there were days when everything was moving smoothly. I learned a lot from every challenge I had to face, and I guess all those things I learned I am now actually able to apply in our own business.

Right now I'm occupied with mylot. Infact i find it more interesting than my recent job. (Joke) LOL! Im working for almost 5 years now with my present job and sad to say that nothing really happens. Our company doesn't send us in seminars and workshop that might enables us to upgraded our learnings. We are stuck that is why it is kinda boring. The only consolation I had right now, that's why i cannot leave my present job are because (1) for financial reason and (2) salary wise.

many of my friends have the same consolation like you, i don't think it is advisable to quit the job. maybe you can search for a part-time job you like. of course, it would not conflict with you present job.

You are luck,I admire your condition. I don't like my job before past several years,I can't get any satisifaction from job,it's only a tool to get money.I haven't much choice in job taking.I ever do my best to find happy in my job, just a little is enough, but I alawys gained disappointment. To avoid more disappointment,I decide to have break before several months. After rest and think over ,I choose a job different with before,I begining work again,I adjust my attitude and emotion ,and I be satisifaction more now.

I'm a pre school teacher, and i can honestly say i love my job. It's not well paid, but i get a lot of satisfaction out of it. I would say the money isn't important in a job like mine, but i could do with a raise ( boss if your reading, please note)
